All the countries but no english?

It was good and now it's just as if nothing were made. In fact this is worst tha having something.
It's just as if you give a bone to a dog and then you try to take it back... I don't think the dog would apraciate... well this is the same case here!
<img src="graemlins/shame.gif" border="0" alt="[Shame]" />

All this Just because many other people tried to have their own special country forum...

I absolutly don't agree with waht has been done!
Since the French forum had been created, many new members came on neo-geo.com.
Maybe it was the same thing in the germman forum, Anyway, I don't want to keep posting here...

Who cares, at least we still have somewhere to type un-interrupted in non-English languages.

Honestly, if you want a whole forum in language X, then as a matter of principle you should open your own site and pay for it, no sponge off someone else's.

throws down 2 yen and walks away...

you should close the international forum, because it brings nothing more to the other forum in this conditions... :(

I can easily understand that it's not possbile to offer a special forum to all languages but a forum like this one is too messy to be pleasant to use to anyone, so you'd better to close it !

C'mon ppl, calm down and think about it for a mo.

First off, the Portuguese and Spanish folks requested their own forum, and given the heavy use of both languages in Neo games, I can relate to it somehow.

But what would have happened? Two more fora, even more "the int'l forum must go" threads in Suggestions, and a steady increase of bandwidth consumption of an already traffic-intensive site, which may lead to more drastic measures one day. Bandwidth isn't free.

Of course a combined forum isn't as convenient as dedicated language fora, but anyway, it's cool to have a place for non-English language threads at all. I mean, tell me ONE international bbs which has something like this!

Here's a suggestion for ya I also PMed to Shawn:

We should have Instant Country Flag Graemlins, with French, Italian, Mexican, Portuguese, Spanish and German flags. This way, it only would need a short look into the forum to find out the threads in your mother tongue for you to post in.

I think we should thank Shawn instead of blaming at him.

Btw, I think a flag near to each thread showing which is the language spoken there is needed!

Looking for your thread is a little bit odd, isn't it?

You are all forgetting one thing:

In the previous International section, where the 3 "original" languages were, it said in big letters:

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

So it wasn't definitive, you knew changes could have been made. So don't bitch.

I think this solution is reasonable.
After the specified language forums were
created, members from other nations wanted
their own forum too.
So we already had a portuguese and chinese
thread and god knows which language would
have been the next on the wish list for an
own forum (Zuaheli maybe?).
So this international forum is IMO a good
idea and should stay like this.

I'd propose to write the language of the
thread into the headline if the flag idea
can't be realized. For example:
"(Deutsch) Was sie schon immer übers NeoGeo
wissen wollten und nie zu fragen wagten!"
or
"(Francais) Le NeoGeo, une console de jeux video
ou un objet de prestige?"

Good idea or not?

Not bad for sure, yet the flags options would be better. :)

Some may even suggest that post couts be disabled in here much like it has been in the War Room, given the insane amount of spam in some of these threads...

Peace
