I notice the link to the chat room for this site has gone, it use to be a gateway to get to the neo-geo chatroom too but now its gone,so unless you access it via another route you wont be able to talk in chat anymore
The best route is to download irc at www.mirc.com then once you have downloaded it which only takes a few minutes,you can then enter as many rooms as you want in one go including the great #neo-geo chat room

If you have problems getting it to work, then its because the irc server setting may be wrong, so if so just change the irc server to irc.chat-solutions.org
port setting 6667. hopefully you should have no problems and will see you in chat <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

you can try irc2.chat-solutions.org as your server...that seems more reliable at times. also, once you're in, type "/join #neo-geo" to enter the chan.

When the #neo-geo room is full as it has been at times,it is like a big party in there,people with a lot of knowledge are there so can help with with your queries too <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">you should give it a go.

Hey, no offense taken GA. "A lot of people who hang there dont like me", um there's mainly you and Bugula, and a few others. Actually Chimp chat has been just fine, leegray and many others like Nick_th_Fury have links on thier page where you can join chat from there. Yeah the link is missing from NG.com and I suppose Shawn got tired of dealing with it. Dont blame him actually.

As for me being a bad mod? I hope you are not looking for an excuss because I am not going to make one. Yeah I guess I am a pretty shitty mod. If I dont like you, you come in there running your mouth, you cause disturbances, you will be banned and thats that.

The #neo-geo chatroom is not a playground and we dont put up with bull shit. We have several regulars that come in all the time and shoot the shit, we are all friends and everyone is welcomed including you Chimp, just keep in mind Abyssbot has a zero tolerance kick/ban policy. You fuck up you go and if that makes me a bad mod well then I guess I am one.

My friends and I chat there its nice its relaxing and we plan to keep it that way and if you missed out on some of the great gaming conversations it is probably because one or all of the users flames you everytime you come in. I am not saying your at fault but that is what happens. Anytime you want to come in and talk games Chimp, I will be more than happy to talk with ya.

Naomi I think you are going to Shawn's old room. Shawns's room wasnt supported and used and the server reset #neo-geo.com so I registered it again and left Abyssbot in there.

At any rate, the room name is #neo-geo not #neo-geo.com you can access it through www.neogeousa.com Just click on chat and you will see you are in #!arcade!, I am also a mod there and Abyssbot is there to keep the room open 24/7. After you enter there just type /join #neo-geo and you are there. Hope to see you around.
