POLL: will CAPCOM USA screw CVS2??

I think they'll screw CVS2 about as much as they 'screwed' CVS1, if that makes any sense.

I liked CVS, except for the ridiculous damage of the Shin Shoryuken, even though the SNK characters had only half of the moves they would have they been in an SNK developed fighter. For purposes of CVS I didn't mind the limiting.

My question is: how will six button fighting affect the SNK fighters?

i LOVE CVS, it's become my favorite game, and the sequel looks ready to blow it away.
i do'nt see how any Capcom OR SNK fan would
not be excited about CVS2's release. i was a
street fighter fan before i went SNK crazy, so the gameplay has always been cool with me
in pretty much any capcom game. i hear people
say how the snk characters were weakened in
CVS, and i think it's just off. in particular, kyo gets mentioned a lot as someone who lost power in the CVS game, but i've seen top level players use him incredibly (Alex Valle won a tournament with
a kyo/ryu team. there were tons of other people playing nak and guile and balrog and shit). i have the highest expectations for
CVS2, and i think for the most part the people that had problems with CVS were the one's that were lookong to in the first place. the one's that probabaly think of themselves as die-hard SNK fans and saw that
their main SNK guys lost a coupla' moves or whatever and could'nt be played the same to
be effective. you have to remember, this is a capcom game, NOT an snk game. it's gonna' play, feel and look like a street fighter game with the incredible bonus of having SNK
fighters in it (undoubtably, more bad-ass than capcom fighters, i mean that's almost not an opinion anymore. just fact). if you do'nt like/ never liked capcom fighters to begin with, chances are CVS1 or 2 ain't gonna' be your bag. personally, i'll take the combination of the two best game companies best characters and be on cloud nine. even if it does'nt come out ststeside.

Just get the import version, its bound to have great cover art and uncensored Music tracks.

Sad but true.

Maybe it should say how will Capcom screw CvS2. Honestly, if Capcom doesn't decrease the insane priority on jabs and shorts and give certain moves some more recovery time (Hurricane Kick, Shinkuu Hadoken, etc.) I'm never touching another Capcom fighter outside of the Vampire series.

Yes they will as Capcom doesn't have a good track record overall. we all know that the import game would come out for the dc.as for the domestic version,it may or may not come out.dc has a small userbase in japan when compared to the USA and also the dc in japan is not doing well.i don't see the reason why capcom would not bring a domestic version.oh well,my country sells import games,domestic games and pirated games,i'll still get it anyway.

Really though on the StreetFighter series Capcom has done a better than average job on translations and conversions. Importing is fine as long as a US mode is in there.

of course they will that is what they usually do even though I liked R.CODE VERONICA very much but hey there are some bad game trans. in the market .....
