Q: how do i beat Kim?

I've been playing against a friend of mine and he uses Kim's sweep cancelled to his flip foward attack (repeat), and does so in such a manner that i can't do much else but block, and then uses the rushing super for anti-air, anti poke..
I use mostly Normal Kyo, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

How about doing a DP?

Block his Flip Attack and sweep?

Down and Hard Punch?

kim's flip kick (qcb + K) has bad priority. You can just jab him out of it.

i can't do dp because of block stun from the crouching strong kick. It seems like the flip attack has no recovery time, so the sweep comes out almost instantly afterwards.

hmm.. yeah I've heard ppl say to use the down strong punch, have yet to try it.

at the time when i tried jabbing him we would trade (me getting bad end of the deal).

some possible solutions:

do the dp before it reaches you
dp the sweep
dash backwards after the sweep
roll when the flip kick comes

Kim's flip kick recovers faster than Kyo blocking? No way... You make it sound it's a perfect trap.
