This is my suggestion for rivalries:
Terry vs Roy Bromfield (characteristics and moves are too similar).
Terry vs Ryu (main character in their respective games)
Terry vs Ken (battle of the blonds).
Evil Kairi vs Orochi Iori
I have alot more, I just can't think of anymore right now.

Ok, well, i try not to make the rivalies based on what the characters look like, more of like how they are similar character wise and styles...Ok, so here goes:

Andy vs Guy
Two characters that I think would be a great addition to the CvS games, and similar...Both ninja-esque characters, and both really don't get the credit they deserve always being in the shadow of other characters in their respected games....

Billy vs Vega
You can have the battle of the henchmen, both have weapons, and it's a contradictory of styles....you think Vega might win easily cuz of his speed, but Billy can manuver around well and has pretty good reach...so i dunno....

Cody vs Robert Garcia
This would be cool, cuz I'm thinking of a potential storyline...maybe because I can see Robert turning into a bad guy just like Cody did.....I'm thinking Cody would try to convince Robert that all this "good guy" character is really not him....Maybe Cody goes into South Town looking for trouble....

Athena vs Rose
Two incredibly powerful "psychic" users, I dunno if they are telepathic, but I can see them having some philosohpies in common, maybe a triangle relationship that makes Rose see Athena as a potential enemy since she uses "psycho power" something that she associates with evil, like in M. Bison

Having played my fair share of SFA3, I have to say that I don't think Cody's a bad guy, just a fuck-up.

Shingo vs. Sakura - The devoted followers of Ryu and Kyo.

M. Bison vs. Chris - Can Psycho power take on the host of Orochi?

R. Mika vs. Shermie (or Hinako XD) - Female wrestling at its finest.

Kurow vs. Kensou - A student with strange dark forces against the adorably dorky psycho soldier.

I'd also want to see Dan take on ALL the AOF team. They'd beat him down. loco

Personaly I like the idea of a Galford and Strider Hiryu rivalry.

Sakura and Shingo is perfect, thats a great one. I like the Kyo and Ryu, and Terry and Ken rivalries too. And since not a single one of you has mentioned this one, let me add it: Nakoruru vs. Morigan. They used it in Match of the Millenum, and I think its perfect. The beautiful, sweet, innocent protector of nature and the vile, evil succubus which threatens it.
