I ask my self reacently why they did take out andy and left the rest of the fatal fury team....( Terry and Joe ) does any one know why??? <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" />

They were paid massive amounts of money to eliminate the best chracter(s)(ANDY) to cause an uproar, Either that, or they looked at it in this manner "The Fans We Have Will See Rock Being a cross between the best fighters and no longer feel the need for them"....No, wait..that' my andy-itis showing through again.Anway.......

I would have thought that Goro Diamond would have been a better person to play as then Raiden... <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[LOL]" /> just lucky Any is tossed around in King Of Fighters.....(HIROYA) <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" />

Capcom doesn't want anything to do with real grapplers, thats why none of the SNK grapplers appear.

And Andy should be in, don't know why they felt the need to leave him out.

I would have LOVED to seen Andy in CvS as well... but who would he fight against? Unless he's put up against Guy, there wouldn't have been ank kind of reasonable "dre4am matchup" for him.

As for Goro? He would have been great for the grappler, but Raiden makes a more sensible choice for Zangief since they are both old school grapplers. Characters like Goro, Shermie (and even Clark) are more of the new school type of grappler, and Zangief just doesn't have these types of moves to compete. Maybe if someone like Alex, Hugo or even R. Mika was in the game, they could represent the new age grappler for Capcom... characters like Goro would fit in more logically.

Yeah, it's from back when I actually liked the games Square came out with (FF 4 & 6 in particular). I don't think I've played a Square game though since FF 8. Also, I'm generally a medic in my 2 favorite online games (TFC & Wolfenstein).

I think the reason for Andy's absence is because Capcom already put the rivalry of Ryu vs Kyo, and Ken vs Iori; instead of Ryu vs Terry, and Ken vs Andy. So Capcom had no one to mach up with Andy in similarity, but Terry has one with Guile.

I'm sure something will happen with Andy. It's not like that can just leave them there to rot. Besides, if they were able to return characters like Eagle, then Andy will have a spot hopefully in the future.
