strider can't touch hanzo. hanzo would shinobi vanish, and kick off of the walls. or something.

Come on now, Strider would take out Gonzo, escuse me HONZO in a heartbeat. Honzo's not even a real ninja, ninja's don't wear armor, but what's on honzo? Can we say WANNA-BE?

I really think Strider has it more than Hanso I admit that they wouldnt go down with out then near dead though Strider has the tools and the speed.. he just isn't a ninja he is Hanso's god!

You you might want to go back and edit your 1st post so you can spell the name Hattori Hanzo correctly.

Oh and for god's sake even tho I liked Strider I'm going to be a biased ass bastard and say that Samurai Shodown II Hanzo owns Strider for free.

A real ninja shouldn't need a sword for over 95% of his attacks.

Hanzo doesn't use his sword in bust mode of SS 64 2 except for finishers where he either slits the opponent's neck or plants it in the left side of their chest. The armor isn't anything new to ninjas. But again, in SS 64 2, hanzo doesn't wear armor in bust mode. It's all grappling and combo throws.

Besides, where is Strider's invisibility and shurikens?

And of course, the kicker, who would win in a popularity contest between Strider Hiryu and Hanzo Hattori in a random poll in Japan?

Hanzo Hattori, because he's a historical figure that children learn about in their history classes.

Believe or not, I've got to pick Strider. He's one of the few characters in video games that has an advantage against Hanzo. He has fast, long-reaching pokes, damaging combos, and the 'orbs' which can neutralize Hanzo's teleports, fireball trapping, and throws.

If it's any consolation, Hanzo would own any character in the Street Fighter 2 series except Vega for free.
