The New Capcom All-Stars Crossover Game...

I am guessing you guys already saw news on this in Madman Cafe. The game is still untitled.

New Cross over additions:

Akira Kazama (Rival Schools/Project Justice): Daigo's little sister makes her debut. I guess when Kyosuke made an appearance in the
C vs. S series, Capcom decides to add another Rival School character to the Vs. series. Akira fights with her "powered" biker outfit, but without the helmet.

Mike Haggar: After Guy, Cody, and Maki made the cut into the fighting game world. People wanted Haggar to be in the game for once. Well, in this game, he does.

New Characters:

D.D.

Rook

Ingrid

They're ok I guess...why do I get a feeling this is going to be the Capcom version of the King of Fighter :eek:

I don't think this is the capcom all-stars game....I thought that was still going to stick 2d; besides isn't this one called "something mars" or something?

If you were implying the title, "Mars Fire," that is not its title. As of now, the game is still untitled. However, according to MMCafe, the game will be displayed in the Jamma Show in Tokyo. Maybe then the title will be know. I can tell you this. It seems that D.D. is plabably the main character in the game. Now I know this is gonna turn into a KoF type game. <img src="graemlins/spock.gif" border="0" alt="[Spock]" />

why would they put new characteres in a all star game. if its an allstar game then the characteres have to be known.
i hope this is not an allstar because the new characteres look cool and it would be great to see them in a storyline.

I am guessing the new characters are part of a storyline and the rest of the Capcom stars are just along for the ride...

MMCAFE just recently reported the games offical title: "Capcom Fighting All-Stars"

I'm not too interested in this game. I got Tekken and VF in the PS2 right now for 3d, i don't need a 3d fighter that plays like a 2d fighter. they should have went ahead and made it 2d, hi-res mind you.

Ditto Spin. The only 3D Capcom fighter I remotely enjoyed was the OG SFEX+@ on the PlayStation, and that was mainly because of great music, nifty atmosphere, and wacked out cancel-combos...definitely not one to seriously play against people. I imagine this new 3D All-Stars game will occupy the same dull niche. Button-mash city. It'll sell buckets, right next to MvC2 for the PS2/XBox. Thanks for all the new scrub-friendly fighters Capcom! <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

Third Strike was truly the last great fighter from them. I believe it's over.

Maybe I'm just sick of Street Fighter, but am I the only one that thinks this game is going to be completely overrated? This game reminds me of the Street Fighter EX series (which is NOT a good thing). Granted there's only a little info out on it, but if it is truly 3D I don't think it can hold a candle to the likes of VF4, Tekken4 or Soul Calibur 2.

Tell you what Capcom, when you come up with an original idea, let me know, ok?

No kidding. I would understand if it was a 2D, but a 3D, that is just too much.
