I just got CvsSNK 1 a few days ago for my DC, but I just can't seem to get more than 30 or so groove points in the arcade mode. I unlocked Akuma's shadow, but I need 81+ groove points to unlock him. Please help!

Well sadly in CVS 1 earning groove points was a bitch, you gotta keep playing so long :( 9999 for Gouki is a pain in the ass from what I heard. I think someone else might have better advice then what I just gave lol

To get more groove points, you can counter a super with a super. It gives tons of points.Or you could counter a normal attack with a normal attack or if possible a combo/super.The only problem with the groove point is that it relies too much on countering moves to gain points.I once did akuma's shungokusatsu and i lost some points

Well do the cheapest thing possible. Go to options, then put the super combos on max, and you'll have unlimited SDM's, and Hyper combos. Or you could put it on training mode and leave it their without pausing for about an hour an twenty or thirty minuts and you'll get 999 points.

Just use EX Benimaru (with the MAX super option on) and use his "Elec-trigger".

You'll get a shit-load of groove points every time!

Yes... if you have the DC to NGPC cable and a copy of SNK vs. Capcom, you can make TONS of points very quickly by playing the Olympic Games on SvC. The quickest way to earn the points is to play a game called "Cat Walk", which is very similar to Dance Dance Revolution. On the high levels of this game (Nakoruru & Chun-Li), you can easily score well over 900 points per round... and that's not bad for only 2 minutes worth of work!

All you would have to do is play the "Cat Walk" until you had a number of points, then transfer the data to CvS on the Dreamcast. You'll unlock everything on the game in no time. :)

Also, there are places online where you can download the VMU that has everything unlocked already. If you set your Dreamcast to go online, you should be able to find a site with this information.
