I like using Kyosuke don't get me wrong.... its just that he's so weak. I have yet to see a truly great Kyosuke player

Well I can't say who is the best character, but these are the best characters for me.
King <img src="graemlins/drool.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool]" /> , Iori, Terry, Maki, & Gouki.
As for the worst:
Shin Gouki <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" /> & God Rugal <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" />

Ryu = Best
Zangief = Worst...
I just cant master the rotate stick all the way round atomic buster moves!! ...on just pummeling I can win, but any kind of style....i haven't got it with the 'gief! *lol*

I really want to be able to school with Zangief....i love just beating my friends with the slower more powerful characters like Sagat..I cant pull of the atomic busters and i just wont let myself be the guy who just does the spinning lariet move all the time!!

I know I'm not really voting, but can you guys really get behind the SNK characters in CVS2?
For instance, Kim, Terry, and Ryo are 3 of my all-time favorite fighting game characters, and I've been playing them ever since they've been around. But I can't stand them in CVS2. I think part of it is the gimpy control & button layout, like how fierce / roundhouse = KOF CD attack. I also think CVS2 has terrible control (move detection); Kim and Terry have been using their DMs as counter-attacks for years, which is why they've kept the simplified motion (dwn, dwn-bk, fwd + button), but they're almost impossible to even do in CVS2.
I don't know, those 3 characters are my all-time KOF favorites (and have often been my entire team), but I can't stand any of them in CVS2.
To keep this reply even moderately on-topic, I'm just going to mention that I don't like how they included the slow-and-stupid SFA3 version of Guile, but I think Cammy turned out OK. I also dislike all CVS2 characters that use old, old sprites (like Sagat, from Alpha 1, 1995; or Morrigan from Darkstalkers, 1993).
If you ever see a very little kid playing CVS2 in an arcade, think about this for a second: Morrigan's sprite is older than that kid.
