Raging storm I easly pulled out if you: hcf, hcb, hcf+any punch button!

and the counters timing is no brainer material just do it at the same time your opp attacks you! ;)

Why don't you use Rock Howard instead. He's way cooler and easier plus he has the same moves as geese!! Right Spin!! :D :D Heh, I know he'll be here to agree 100% with me <img src="graemlins/glee.gif" border="0" alt="[Glee]" />

aaaaahhh here we go once again.

OK for the counter timing, use the same timing you'd use for blocking. When you feel that the opponent is going to attack then bust out a counter. Now for figuring out which counter to use is up to you cuz i can't tell you that. But if you opponent is predictable or repetitive then you'll know which counter to use.

OK for the Raging Storm its not easy but i know a shortcut. What Vishema posted is wrong(no hard feelings Vishema). OK the Original input for the Raging storm is: db,hcb,df+p. The simpler way to do is is hcb, hcb,df+p. The first "hcb" can be registered as a "db" so it works out and you can perform it faster and more efficiently. So whenever you have an opponent who is real jumpy and likes jump ins then you can punish them real nice.

Oh and Rock howard is a sissy ass bitch. Only punks ass bitches use Rock Howard cuz they can't handle Geese Howard who is the real thing/real deal. Jay you know damn well i can't stand sissy ass Rock howard. He is almost as big a sissy as Benimaru. Geohound87, don't take the sissy route and go with rock howard just cuz he has a qcf,qcf Raging storm. Its all about Geese!

Real men use Geese, Right Spike Spiegel!!! I'm glad you made the right choice geohound!

hey Jay, you remember my sig at IGN.com fighting game boards?

"Rock is like beer, Geese is like hard liquor, if you can hold your beer nobody gives a damn but you can hold your liquor then its time to party!!"

Memorize it pal.

Geese can be played offensively or defensively but for people who are newer to using Geese its best if you played him defensively so you can grasp his counters and things.

Once you can use him a bit better then you can go a bit more on the offensive with him then once you got Geese down pat you can mix it up on your opponent and give him/her hell!

Abuse anything you can with him. Especially abuse his Double Reppukens and Shippuken.

Remember, Geese owns everybody for free!! Especially Rock Howard!

The trick to drinking is drink all the hard liquor first, then go for the beer. And everyone gets a good laff from watching a guy chug 3-4 beers in a row, don't take beer out of the spotlight. It has its moments :)

well for a beginner i recommend C-groove or S-Groove. But I use P-Groove. I don't recommend P-Groove for a beginner at all.

well if you are a good Third Strike player then the P-Groove thing is self explanitory. Parry, Parry, Parry.

The N-Groove is also very effective with Geese.

When your opponent jump-kicks a lot do high counter. Maybe after 2 or 3 times he will change his tactic and jump at you without kicking and doing a sweep immediatly after landing. Do low counter then.

Be reminded, that for countering most transport moves like Terry´s Burn knuckle you have to use the high counter.

Try to change between offensive and defensive tactics and use the Shippuken for withdraw-maneuvers. It will either vaporize an upcoming projectile or hit an adversary jumping towards you. He will have the chance to corner you then.

Oops I forgot one more thing. If you want to use Geese effectively, you need to practise your timing.

with the P-Groove Geese, you should parry fireballs and all of the hard to counter things like supermoves and things and save the basic moves for Geese's counters. With P-Groove you are almost untouchable because it increases the amount of things you can stop.

The easiest way to beat Geese is to just keep jump kicking him. Jump kick and come back. It's easy.
