Well, here's yet another topic on MVS SvC. What are your ideas for it?

Me, I think one of the reasons why SvC NGPC (I'm guessing it's based on that) is that SNK characters had lots of moves while Capcom characters have better movelists.

For me, one idea is for Capcom characters to have their MvC2 equivalent super for an SDM/L3SC. For example, Ryu's Shinkuu Hadouken SC would be a beam super at L3, Ken's Shinryuu Ken SC would have the flaming column at L3, Akuma's L3 Tenma Gou Zankuu would have him shooting some 20-odd fireballs, and so on.

As for Dan, port the Chohatsu Shinwa as the L3 Chohatsu Densetsu!

Other L3 supers to add:
Ryu: that auto-combo super from Pocket Fighter
Zangief: Russian Beat SC (Pocket Fighter)
Chun-Li: Shichisei Senkuu Kyaku
Morrigan: Dark Force Custom Combo Super!
Dan: Otoko Michi SC(MvC2), as well as the Haou Saikyou Gadoken SC (SvC NGPC)
Sakura: Shun-Goku-Satsu (Hiyakeshita Sakura - MvC2)

Because the KOF fighting system is somewhat of an intermediate between that of SFA3 and the VS series, how would you change the Capcom characters to fit the KOF medium?

I want at least 30 fighters. with like 8 hidden ones. 4 from each side.

I want to see some KOF 97-2001 characters in it. Like K9999, Shin Kyo, K Dash, Kula, Shermie etc.

Also I want a tag feature, 3 on 3 w/strikers, and single play mode.


I want the game to play just like KOF 2000.

I'd make the SF characters look like KOF characters you know. I've give them some more much needed moves. No supers from MvsC NO WAY!!!! All the supers come straight from the latest game the characters were in example Kyo would have his KOF 2001 supers and ChunLi would have her SF3 3rd Strike supers. I'd throw in 10 grooves this time. The six from CvsS2 and add Vampire Savior groove, and the REAL BOUT FF groove. Also, add the GarouMOTW groove and the X ism groove from SFA3.

There should be a single match mode, 2 two-man tag match modes(Marvel vs Capcom-style which you have to eliminate the opponent's team and Kizuna Encounter/Rage of the Dragon-style which you have to eliminate one member of the opponent's team), a three-man tag match mode and 4 KoF-style team modes(3-Man Team,4-Man Team w/o Strikers, 4-Man Team with Strikers, and a 1-8-Man Team).

The bosses of the game are Geese and Sagat(Who can be fought if you use Ryu,Ken,Terry,Andy,Joe,Ryo and Robert the first time or any Street Fighter 1,Fatal Fury 1 and AOF 1-2 characters),Krauser and M.Bison(Who can be fought if you use Ryu,Ken,Terry,Andy,and Joe the second time or any Street Fighter 2 and Fatal Fury 2 Characters),Rugal,who you will have to fight twice(first as Normal Rugal,and second as God Rugal which has the combined powers of Normal Rugal,KoF'98 Omega Rugal and CvS2 God Rugal),the entire Orochi Gang in their Orochi Forms, Orochi and True Akuma/Gouki, a duo which you have to fight twice(first seperated, and second combined into one powerful boss)(Rugal, The Orochi Gang, Orochi and True Akuma/Gouki can be fought if you use the Orochi Saga Characters and most of the Street Fighter 3 characters except Yang,Yun,Twelve,and Necro),Krizalid,Zero Clone from KoF 2000,Original Zero(along with the Strikers) from 2001, Igniz and Gil(Who you can only fight as the NESTS Saga characters and Necro or Twelve)

There will be alot of characters from Street Fighter,Final Fight,KOF,Fatal Fury,Art of Fighting, and Burning Fight.

There will be 3 grooves for single match mode, and 2-man tag mode, 4 grooves for 3-Man tag mode, 6 grooves for 3-Man Team mode,and 8 grooves for 4-Man Team mode.

In case if they make a SNK vs Capcom 2 for the Triforce arcade engine and Gamecube and Sega and Nintendo decided to put special cameo appearances of their characters,hinting a Sega vs Nintendo and Nintendo vs Sega, there will be the same modes as the first one, and a lot of characters from all of the games that both Capcom and SNK created so far and two secret characters, Sonic and Link who are going to be demo characters. There will be even more bosses and one Secret Boss, Ganondorf, who had all three Triforce pieces and the seven Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald making him as powerful as Orochi and True Akuma/Gouki combined but alot more skilled(He can be fought by the most skilled players who can win every round and don't use any continues)There are also be more grooves for all of the modes. There will be 3D animated backgrounds with completly 2D characters with great animation and so on.

This will gonna be a toughie for anyone who looks at the background or anything else.

put 3 fighters on each team (ask if u want striker, bring it down to four) Grooves (Capcom groove 1, normal capcom, SNK groove 1, EXTRA, and with strikers it's 4 stocks or 3 anyway, Capcom groove 2, X-ism meter, only more than one super/(S)DM, SNK groove 2, ADVANCED, air block present every groove)
Characters: All from capcom vs snk, probably some from capcom vs. snk 2, and new:
Capcom: umm......... can't think of capcom..
SNK (add EOLITH in too): Igniz (can be boss, playable, but weak), Lin, Ron (Long, but what will his moves be?? not the same as lin, i hope) K', Kula, K9999, Robert Garcia, Takuma Sakazaki, Whip, Ikari team (including whip), Xiang Fei, Kensou, Bao (to beat up or to improve him), Amakusa (dream match), Nakoruru (with both animals)

Yea I like the idea of

1 on 1 classic SF style
2 on 2 tag (like RotD, Ex 3 etc)
3 on 3 KoF 94 to 98 style
4 on 4 KoF 2001 style using a range of fighters/strikers

Use of chain and air combos (From the marvel series)

40+ characters

A 'Boss Mode' where you fight one boss after the other...including all mid and end bosses of KoF and SF

Interlinking story lines that invlove all characters with a new evil force to be reckoned with. :D

Dude, you are messed up in the head. First you say CvS uses the Same engine as SF3, now you want a SvC especially a Neo Game to have Marvel style Air combos? <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

My idea for this game is simple. Deliver a great game that will be fun to play, that doesn't get boring after you open all the options. Now, as to feature that I would like to see, one on one and team style. As for tag team, only if it's done like RotD, if not, do not bother. I only want three grooves. Similar to LB2, one based SNK, one of CAPCOM, the third based on the two of them. I believe this will make the game truly unique. The roster of character would be 15 for each side. An end boss from each side, the trick here the team who gets to the end boss would fight the other's boss, before fighting there own. (This is how I felt the CvS2 should have done the endbosses). No amalgamated endboss, if so, have one that is truly unique to the game itself.

This game shouldn't have any of that new fucking bullshit...no strikers, tag-team, "grooves", any of that fucking garbage. Anyone who wants that shit needs to take off your fucking dirty Burger-King smellin' Korn T-shirt, take a shower, and go find a job.

Hey, here's an idea.

REDRAW ALL OF THE SPRITES!

I don't want to look at an 8 year old Morrigan sprite going up against 2 year old Chun-Li SFIII sprite.

I swear, they just don't care anymore--Capcom vs. SNK is the pits graphically.

Not really, SNK vs Capcom (Match if the Millenium) was the NGPC version of the series, and featured super deformed char. and 3 playing styles instead of grooves (1 on 1, 2 on 2 tag where you could switch any time during the match, and 3 on 3 a la kof 94-8). It also had many minigames based on everything from metal slug to a beat/dance game with people's themes (sorta like parppa the rapper, it was called cat walk, a lot of people loved that one.) When you did good in the mini games, you got points, with which you could buy new supers. It also had different characters, like Leona and Bulleta (Baby Bonnie Hood).

getting to the matter at hand, I don't care what they do with the game, as long as it has A DECENT, COHERRENT STORYLINE THAT THE GAME FOLLOWS and ACTUAL ENDINGS FOR ALL THE CHARACTERS/SPECIAL TEAM PHOTOS/ENDINGS!!!!!!!!!! That is all I need

Redraw everything, or at least do some serious work on giving the game a single look and feel. Have a huge character roster, which starts off small and grows as you complete the game with various characters in different modes/difficulty levels. Hidden extras can really make a fighter. Maybe even a time release system could be used similar to SFA3? Is this possible on MVS? Lastly, a brand new unique final boss would rock, as would a coherent storyline to explain the crossover.

My only real hope is that they redraw Morrigan's sprite... <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" /> Have they changed it at ALL since Darkstalkers?
