why does PSX KOf'99 have gallery mode and DC KOFEVO dosen't???

that sucks, almost as much as activision releasing tony hawks 3 on the N64 and not the dreamcast.

can you unlock the gallery mdoe on the DC version? ive also heard rumors there is a gallery mode on KOF DM'99 but it needs to be unlocked. how?

It's just tradition for the PSX actually.

To get the gallery on Dream Match 99, just go to Neo Geo Pocket and go to the upload and download screens. It will have like several art pieces you can unlock if you earn enough points. When you play with the characters on the game, you get points for them by winning rounds, matches, straights, perfects, etc. These factor into your NGPC points, you don't need a pocket color to do this though it would help. Each character can earn you a maximum of 100 pts. Then once you earn enough points, go to the upload menu and add points and save. Then go to the download menu where you can buy/view the art pieces you have enough to unlock. To unlock all the pieces, you have to get 100 pts with all KOF Dream Match characters. All the pics are is KOF 99's new characters and new outfits that the old ones got in 99 like Kyo, Athena, Robert in the new stance etc. Takes a while to finish, epecially a pain in the ass playing with the sucky characters like Chin, Chang, Kensou, Choi, Brian Battler, Lucky Glauber, those are the worst characters.

I've always wondered the same. I traded in my PSX KoF '99 for KoF Evolution. And I was mad that it didn't have a gallery. Probably because it gets extra strikers.
