I just got KOF 2K for DC!!!!

I have only played for a half hour and all I can say is it is awesome!! No English option, but hey it might be a hidden option who knows. Also has original soundtrack and arranged. Music plays through the round as characters switch. No loading times between character switches. Also, I haven't played the arcade version of 2K but have played 94 to 99 to know that I can say that the sprites are the same size as all the previous arcade games and not scaled down. They truly look exellent. Not scaled down like the Saturn versions of KOF, or Garou for DC.

The graphics are really something as well. This game has a certain shine or polish to it. Also the puzzle mode is hidden, you have to unlock it.

One last thing...Backgrounds are 2D :D

No English option? I thought that most of the KOF's had a language switch option? Oh well, while that is very disappointing, it sounds like the game itself is an absolute gem. The Rage just sent me an email stating that it had been shipped earlier this morning so it should be here either Saturday or Monday. by the way how far away do you live from the store you got it from? mine was shipped yesterday but is not here yet <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[Crying]" />

I got mine from NCS and they are in New York, I am in California.

WTF? No English option!!!? Ah well it doesn't matter I guess, I can read all the ending quotes and stuff on gamefaqs. But damn I can't wait for this game!! Should be hitting my door step any day now. I used 3 day select.

No English BLOWS!!! :mad: Doesn't Playmore know that KOF is an International sensation? AND that the DC is dead in all markets, and that people will buy the import Jap release because of that? What a crock of SHITE! <img src="graemlins/veryangry.gif" border="0" alt="[Very Angry]" />

Seriously, it makes me not want to buy it now. Damn Playmore! And here I thought they knew what was up.... <img src="graemlins/angry.gif" border="0" alt="[Angry]" />

Yeah it would be nice to have an english option but still, don't pass this game up just for that. They have translations for it at Gamefaqs. Plus, there are a LOT more hidden backgrounds than I originally thought!! I have only seen them in practice mode but it is still nice to see some of the older backgrounds again.

The puzzle mode is really fun too. Some are tough, but it really is a great extra to have with a great game anyway.

i hope they make king of fighters 2000 for ps2 (if it comes out) like that. if not i have to go orochi on them

I got kof 2k today, well I can tell you that the english option isn't that important!!! Just enjoy the game. I'm going back to play right now so see ya'll! :D :D :D

I got mine today as well from ncsx. I realy have no major problem w/ the game--it's fairly fun. I do think that the arranged music, and even the original music for DC ver is abit weird. I prefer the AES port for some odd reason.

hello, I got my DC 2000 yesterday. What do you people think? I'm a bit undecided at the moment. Has anybody got the AES as well? And is it worth the extra £200?
