OK anyway I guess iroi's scumgale no longer combos.....sigh.....though the recover is faster so thats good in away.....though you don't really do moves to get hit out of them.......sigh.....

I heard a rumor that krizalid may be a secret character......thats cool as long as he doesn't have that dumb infinite. And his other moves are slightley tonded down.....but yeah no infinite!!!!!

KOF 2k1 has better team constellation than 1999 and 2000 before. That why I am interested in.

The teams in 99 and 2k are not fitting!

Yeah the mid boss is O.zero and has krizald and some other guys as his strikers.(can't think of names one is that lin guys rival.) Thats were the krizald bing playable romur started....and then someone said you could actullay play as him. Ingas is the last boss...you fight him in outer space...and when you beat him apparently he does the whole "if i lose your going down with me thing" And blows the thing up....the one Q....realisticly how do you survive that?? Well anyway....

My only regret about KoF2k1 is why did they get rid of Jhun Hoon. I know how they got rid of him from the storyline, but I heard he was a unpopular character. I just hope Mei-Li is awesome.

Oh, no... I don't like the sound of that one bit.

For starters, the Tekkyu Spin is a bit overprioritized (it's too good as an anti-air). Sometimes when I jump in at Chang he'll do this- and I'm swatted away.

Yeah jhun was pretty cool..i just wish I got to play the game against more people and I had the will to get better with him. Though his infinite from 99(might be in 2000 don't know) is really cool. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> Very mvc ish.


yeah i read that chang is a charge character. Though i haven't been able to see his move lists yet(know on likes the bastard i guess <IMG SRC="smilies/annoyed.gif" border="0"> ) but if say he has his moves from like 98 like the weird hein zan and stuff he could be pretty mean. I don't know if I said this or not but i know heidren isn't a charge character anymore.

All keep looking for more stuff. I asked a couple of Qs(some shingo and kim things) to some of the guys in singapore so hopefully they get back with me.

OK on to some K' stuff.(woulda posted earlier but i was hoping some new stuff would have came out in the past week or so on him......but .....no)...I guess his flames are slower this year. His flame trigger knocks down now.(or up i guess i should say)That could be bad or good....not sure since i have yet to play the game. Chain dive combos after second shell now. It can also combo from the air now to.....the bad thing about this is, is that it shouldn't.....What i mean is(at least i do this anyway) I use the heat dive for the air attacks....so makes me think ummmm....did he really need this??? Also I guess his one inch punch(foward plus lp.) is his counter wire attack....Im not exactly sure about the hole wire attacks though. But i think this is a good thing....I think that a combo such as standing hp,foward+lp,heatdive would still be possible.


OK....busta....anyway now on to kyo i heard you can combo after his new sdm grab.(hcb,hcb+p) though i didn't here if they cancled it or what. Just something along the lines of grab super, qcf a,hcb a,hcb b. Im probably said it wrong so don't quote me. What im wondering though wouldn't the hcb a hit the person on the ground??? Again i could be wrong...

Having only read other impressions of the game and finding some of the videos. I find that this game may be a great one. From what I have seen this game has outdone itself. The presentation is very nice. The addition of the super cancel is welcomed. Having this option, how many people will bee using strikers for combos. This game is heavily influenced by CAPCOM. Look at the vids, you can tell. Which is not bad at all. It only adds to it, while keeping the same tried and true KOF feels to it. And since when can you super cancel a ground desperation move from the air. Kim can cancel into his Pheonix Flattener from his rising hurricane type move. Now, only if I can get my hands on it to play, then I can truly tell.

What's the deal on strikers. I know there not is broken as KoF2k. If they have Kim's moves like REAL BOUT, dp+p/Kuu Sa Jin, d+k/Hishou Kyaku, Hou'ou Tenbu Kyaku/qcf+k, it would be sick. Clayton, wasn't it you that said that Kim no longer has his Ryuusei Raku/comet crusher. If this is true, Kim is all Real Bout style. Hmmmm...... this could be interesting.

Yeah i said he no longer had...though then someone recently tolod me he had it....i guess they didn't notice because now kim charges are A LOT longer.....Kim is also apparently slower.....and kuu sajin can only be done after the down.down kick move......sigh........though i am really glad he got his air super back.....his foward lp(hop kick move) move can now be cancled after the second hit to someone said.
Al right some more about strikers and such later. I gotta go right now.

About strikers they arn't SUPPOSED to be as broken as in 2000.(no one hits you off the ground.......but i havn't played it yet so i couldn't reallly say.) They take a super to come out also. You can actullay have 3 stikers come out at the same time. Well this may be cool but you gotta think wouldn't you rather just have 3 opritunities to supers? Also there proabably a good chance one would miss. Though is say there was like a dark chizuru(kof99 does a load of block damamge)and you called out 3 of her.....well that would be like have power block damage....so that could hurt.....Basicly calling out a stirker works like this. (i migh get the cown and back wrong)
1 stiker= b+c
2 striker b+c(for first) down +bc (for second
3 striker b+c down +bc back +bc (for thrid)

So what you would do is if ya want 3 stikers you would jsut do one combonation of the buttons one after the other. I can see that the strikers could get pretty tricky.


.....sigh...stil waiting for some more info. It seems that the shingo kick doesn't always knock down.....hmmmm...could you combo after it like 98???? Well just gotta wait and see I guess.....

opps forgot....

Kims lp in the air is weird because i guess it has a delay before it now....so enstead of having the punch in the air come right out it has....well a delay. I hope this doesn't mess crossing up with him.

K49999 has a super which(its like a thing from akira) can hit you off the ground. his hand goes all pycho and messes you up.(if you seen the video you know what im talking about)It apparently does 25 PERCENT block damamge alone!!!!!! Its like qcf,qcf+abcd i think......man 25 percent block damage and can knock you off the ground.......and to think kyo can't even have his counter move.....absord.

I say the best strikers are King (if you play Takuma), Yamazaki (especially when playing Terry,Andy or Joe), and Shingo!


Its cool when you activate King to kick your opponent up in the skies while you are charging Takuma´s slow HaouShikououken!
If you do it right, the opponent sits down on it (juggle)! Yeah!!!

So the_move have you played kof2k1????
If so does it "feel" good.....I'm not sure how to explain this sorry.....Its like when i play 98 and then play 99....98 just feels good....its like smooth everything just flows better it seems to me.....like in 99 the low jumping for example feels weird...

OK im not sure if i told you how ryo's dragon dance has to be up close now....wel it has to be done up close, so you would think that it would be unblockable...well its not apparently.......sigh.....I was actulay gonna forgive eolith for making it a up close move cuz i though....well its unblockable so all jsut have a new stratagy i guess....but if its not unblockable I just woulda rather it stayed the same......

Oh yeah i forgot about stikers now you have to be hitting the person for the to come out. You can only do them on the ground without hitting somebody..
Example if you jump you can't call out a stirker.
If you block you can't call out a stirker.
So thats another way they were tonded down.

Wrong,pal! In KoF 2k you can activate your striker while jumping!!! Just try B+C while jumping!

The strikers in KoF99 will not, right! But that game is not really good, either!

And I have not plaed 2k1 yet, The Move I told will work just fine in 2k!

ummmm......were talking about 2k1....not 2k.
I didn't say that you CAN'T do a striker in the air...I just said you can only do them in the air if you hit someone....not like i jump in the air you hit me......i can't call out a striker. You have to hit someone now...Its only possible to do a striker on the ground without hitting someone....At least from the info i got.

Activate the striker without striking yourselve!

As for that Takuma - King attack I told. jump back and while jumping back activate the striker (King)

Most opponent jump after you and when they land King is there.

OK did you see all that??? Don't get worried I think the kyo infinite can only be done on angel.....(sigh....i don't want my fave charater to have a infinite that would suck.....i want him to take skill ya know.)

Also irois stance looks redrawn doesn't it?....Its the same i mean just looks a bit different....well later.
