ok Cant afford a game atm, would I be able to get output like an MVS (i.e test mode)

Hm,

but games are hard to find and i think you will end up in spending much more than if you had bought it with 3 games included :(. Perhaps you can grab KaedesBlades SS64 also? He has already put in on the bay i think.

Apus does have a point - there are lots of motherboards for sale on ebay but very few games. To date I've seen one copy of buriki one and one copy of ss64 on ebay.

You may also want to steer clear of that board and any other 1st version Hyper which has the external audio jacks. He does include the cables, which really makes it no problem... but I hear the damn things just become a hassle.
