Isn't vektorlogic still selling the system + 3 games for $300? That's a much better deal. I think videoconnection bought their systems from logic and just marked them up a bit.

Actually, Jeff from Vektorlogic buys it from Video Connect and Video Connect never bought any of the Hyper 64's. When SNK USA went under, they brought a few semis and loaded them up with free SNK items, most of it being Hyper 64 cabs and boards.

YES, I did say "free." $195.00 doesn't seem like Video Connect's price either. It's more along the lines of $149.99.

Yeah, Kelly is great, but that's all the good I have to say about Video Connect.

Damn it. I have been meaning to get a Hyper kit before they all dry up. Why did you have to remind me when I am already spending a ton of money over the next few weeks?

-FeelGood- You know, I tried to get a hold of Vector Logic several times, and never got a response.

-Trueminator-Yeah, that's true about VC getting all the free stuff, but hey, at least it wasn't NGF. And yes, Pete's generally a price-jacking dictator, but I've found their MVS prices to be pretty good, and I thought $195 to be a good deal.

-Biomotor-There are still PLENTY of Hyper 64s to be found. You just have to lay-off on the AES purchases ;)

-300 Pro Gear-Never met her in person, but I've dealt with her many times. She's a GREAT person, and really goes the extra mile for us spoiled little bitches in the Neo community. I'm speaking of myself, of course; but I am not the only one ;)

Peace,

AOF

Hello all.....I just got my Hyper 64 board off ebay from that dude that was selling them for 55.00 and I can't wait to play it. Does anyone know where you can get Hyper 64 game board and motherboard manuals or know where I can download them from?

Just a small warning , I bought one of those Hyper 64 boards for $55.00 and I got screwed .
First of all I was charged $15.00 for shipping but when the item arrived over 10 days later it was clearly marked that shipping was only $5.43 next when I tried the board it had problems , first off it was not NEW as advertised and the manual was missing , and altough the 2D sprites and sound work flawlessly the 3D polygons are severely distorted and the game is practically unplayable . Since the seller posted that there was no refunds or returns I am stuck with a usless hunk -o- metal . Buyers beware

I e-mailed that seller and asked some questions regarding actual physical condtion of his merchandise, not just if it was working/non-working. His reply?

sorry i do not rate physical condition of boards totally useless i have many brand new sparkling clean boards that do not work i can sell you if that what you want. its best if youdo not bid on my auctions i have no concern for the looks of boards

In other words, they are beat to shit, which is why he does not offer photos. I would not buy from him, folks.
