Does buy-rite have good rep.?

Ive heard mixed thoughts about them. I ordered a Saturn game from them a while ago(Metal Slug actully) and they seemed to be be good. I have heard stories from people where they sent the wrong stuff, stuff was in bad condition etc. I heard from someone that he ordered a GBC and they sent him a playstation and then a few days later they sent him a GBC so I dont really know what to say.

I've never had any problems with them, and I've ordered quite a few games. Their shipping is a bit pricy, but...no complaints otherwise.

I emailed them and asked if they had SFZ3 for Saturn and they said yes, after two weeks of waiting I call them and they told me that it wasn't in stock and hasn't been in a looong time!! They lied to me! Also I ordered a supposedly new King of Fighters 96 only to get it and see writing in the manual!!! Try www.ncsx.com or somewhere else. I am always hearing horror stories about them. Their customer service is THE worst I have had the misfortune of dealing with.

I got a brand new still in the shrink wrap import of rival schools 2 for playstation for $19.99, i havent had any problems, exept once they never returned my email.

I've seen their online rep go up and down based on service, but I don't hear anyone screaming fraud. I think that they're excellent myself, but that's probably because I just drive over to their store in Raleigh whenever I want to buy something from them. <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

Well, I placed an order of about $4,500 worth of merchandize, after trying to get a hold of them on how I can pay for them. They claimed I neglected to pay for the order and they did not place it. I was so angry that I called them and asked to speak to the Manager. Not only did they not let me speak to them, they started swearing at me and saying how I was trying to scam them. They made absolutely no sense. Now they want me to send a money order for $4,500 to them and have them "hold" on to it for some stupid pathetic reason and I should get my shipment in a month or so. Then I asked them about wholesale pricing and such. To my surprise, they don't offer "wholesale" pricing. What is the point of faxing over my business license and Tax ID for?

Also, a few years ago I purchase a Shock Troopers 2 brand new (preorder). They are HORRIBLE with their shipping, no bubble wrap, no popcorn, they just threw it in there. Not only was the outside case of the cart damaged, but the game wasn't working properly. I demanded for my money back. They refused to give me a refund and told me I didnt know what I was doing and I broke it myself..... So I called up my credit card company and reversed the charge and ended up with a broken cart.

Those guys are real piss heads. They were advertising the DC DOA2 limited edition on their site for like sixty bucks. I e-mailed them and asked if they had it in stock and they said they did. They also told me it was $130. If I would have placed my order through their site, I would have gotten charged more than what they advertised. Don't pre-order from them either. A lot of times, if a preorder price goes up, they will charge you and not tell you. Go with NCS.

I haven't had any problems w/ them except 1 time the forgot to include a convertor w/ BioHazazard 3. I have dealt with them many times and that was the only time I had a problem w/ them.

Buyrite screwed me once. I preordered my MOTW three months in advance to tell me later that my credit info was wrong and they couldn't honor it even though I had ordered other stuff when I placed my preorder. But it seems I have problems with every company I order from. NCS won't return my emails and I don't remember which company did it but they mispelled my name as Ricky Ritardo instead of Ricky Ricardo <IMG SRC="smilies/crying.gif" border="0">

Actually Buyrite screwed me once.
They had Eternal Arcadia for $29 and I placed order right away and got phone call two days later saying game was out of stock.
They asked me if I want limited edition for $59 instead. Of course, coz it cost $99 to $109 everywhere! Well, I paid extra $30 but got limited edition....but still....they love to play this kinda game play.
