Hi, I did a lot of soul searching since my last disasterous post here and decided to try again to rebuild my reputation. Shawn I can have that Last Blade 2 game at your door in no time.

This is an insult to the community; the person who created this thread did so in poor taste. Anyone who would consider the situation with Mullins humorous has absolutely no respect for the community or other people. Chris Mullins owes the community more than he could ever repay in a lifetime, and that includes -- but is not limited to -- the people he scammed.

Chris Mullins is known as a scammer in the Neo community. As Shawn's entry in the Black Book clearly states, Chris is an unsavory type who preyed on people (especially newbies) by selling things he didn't own. He still owes Shawn a Last Blade cartridge.

Geddon I will be the first to admit that I was a total wanker to make promises I couldn't possibly keep. That's changed now though, I'm in a situation where I can really make a difference in regards to the people I inadvertantly scammed and I damn well plan to make good on it.

Mullins was a big guy on the neo scene 3-4 years ago. He put together this great 50 page FAQ on the neo, that wasnt all his work.Definitive 4 its time .He had respect.
Then some character called "orochi kaede" appeared with a neo web site. This was a "female" who hosted a neo geo website that offered great deals on mvs stuff.
These were the days before forums like this, and all the seller links they offer.So deals like the ones offered by orochi kaede were very tempting
The whole orochi kaede scam, made people like Tim Tews and Kyokogen look like rank amateurs.
People say Mullins was behind it, that he pretended to be a female in the style of Miaka or silverangel,courting popularity, and then after doing loads of deals with people like shawn and myself and many others , retreated from her website, writing some elaborate story about having family problems and being ill.
"she" even had a guest book on her site where people were invited to write what a "great" person kaede was!!! Somehow all my entries saying what I would do to the hoe if she didnt send my games were edited!!!!!! those people who complained that "the bitch owes us money and games" were told to "feel ashamed for picking on a girl" by some of kaedes aliases.
Eventually the trail lead to chris mullins, which was quite shocking.
And mullins subsequent behaviour did nothing to disprove that theory.
Mullins retired from the scene in disgrace about 2 years ago.
In hindsight I dont think Orochi kaede was Mullins. I just couldnt understand how someone who wrote such a great FAQ on the neo could turn out to be a scam artist.
I think it was Neo alec, cos he disapperared along the same time as the orochi keade scam, at exactly the same time , Alec tore down the forums on his site, and stopped updating his site, it was very sudden with no real reason given.
Alec had something to hide,and me and him got in a big argument, cos even after the scam he defended "orochi kaede" and said she was his friend and accused us all of lying about money owed. He also refused to prove to me orochi kaede existed just sayin she's a real person.
