Nice insert and sticker. I see you took the landscape approach on the insert. I like that. Fresh from all of them looking exactly alike.

I cannot give you a highly-technical review of it like some can, but I know what I like, and I like that insert.

People...we need donations of the 'plain' SNK Inserts (English Versions 1st) in the standard format of .BMP If we all participate we can get this done immediately.I will dedicate my full attention to this project as soon as I can with resizing, etc .Others all also working on Insert projects. If you can't scan the insert, you can mail it to me and you will receive CREDIT if you like. Place the insert between two flat pieces of cardboard, tape it up and mail it out 1st class.Your Insert will be returned to you.
I don't expect collecters to participate (SQUASH)

NICK that insert is AWSOME! great work!
one thing though, it would look nicer (in my humble opinion) if there was an snk logo on the spine intead of the saurus one. also. what happened to the color of the genre stripes? just wondering, take care.

Thanks for all the kind words guys.

(in my humble opinion) if there was an snk logo
Well I do have a reason for my madness.
I agree it would be better looking to have SNK on it instead.
Thats my attempt to always have something that is very
obvious to be "unofficial" with my inserts.
That way, someone new to the scene will never accidently
mistake one of my inserts as "official".
Id hate for someone to pay money in an auction thinking
they were getting something rare. When in fact its just plain free.
Whenever the game was created by SNK, I do put their logo
onto the spine & make something else different.

Hey! I already printed the insert up and took pics! Here's my post on it. I accidentally placed it in the Neo-16bit topic instead of News.

And, BTW, I thought the Saurus log was VERY COOL! I like it. Leave it in!

BTW, didn't you have a Metal Slug inserts, or was that Jeff's? I want to get that one and an MSX printed up as well.

thanks NICK. I do think its good that you
have done that for other peoples protection.
what about the color stripes though, why did you leave them black?
any way the logo and stripes can be changed by some one who wished to on thier own righ?
regardless I am printing one out good job man!

and TONK in regards to what you said.
please just say it like A grown up next time.I was not rtrying to promote NGF with what i said, but the color striping is some thing that is important TO ME.

Yes they can be changed easily.
I just try & design it the way I like it, although I do honestly
try & take into consideration everything you guys say.
I take that advice, & always try & apply it to future projects.

I have never been a fan of the genre stripes being a particular color.
SNK never did that, they changed colors to fit whatever they felt was best for the insert.
When I see pics of row after row of almost identical spines,
I just do not like that.

I am very chaotic in my artistic sense, & I like mass variety.
I do not just buy Japanese or English carts.
I take it case by case pick the one I like best.
My next Insert will also have black stripes cause it suits
it so very well. Then I will be on to a different look.
So when I make an insert, I just do what I feel will work well.
I know not everyone will agree, but hey. I make them to please myself & If someone else likes them enough to actully put them
in their collection. That just makes me feel very good.
Thanks again for all the nice words fellas. Its appreciated.

I got some rants and raves.

First off, kudos for trying to make a cool Neo Insert. I like the front artwork and spine and the sticker too.

I say redo the back cover it looks like you just copied a page out of a manual. Also, the other you should redo is the megs box, so it matches the color of the megs box on other games.
