Shawn Michaels then walked out after Flair embraced his family. Michaels solemnly entered the ring and gave Flair a big hug in the ring. They whispered to each other before hugging again. Hunter then pointed out the matching watches for Flair and Michaels.

The matching watches being worn on RAW last night by Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels have inscriptions on the back. Flair's says "To Be The Man" and Michaels' says "You Gotta Beat The Man".

Don't know the original news source but this was posted at Rob Kamphausen's Message Board (Sports and Wrestling Forum)

ORLANDO, Fla. -- One would-be happy fan was hit twice last Sunday night at WWE's WrestleMania 24; first with a cable that snapped during an accidental fireworks finale gone-wrong, and later with a lawsuit from Vince McMahon of the WWE for sneaking a camera into the event.

Like most stadium-held events, the WWE has had a long-standing policy of preventing bootleggers and faux-film makers from bringing recording devices. Many are forcibly removed at the gated entrance, but a few are able to sneak through past the guards.

This particular fan, whose name was left out of this report due to pending legal action, made his bootlegging attempts known when he sent his recording to various internet video outlets, hoping to document (read: cash in) on the fireworks disaster, that left dozens of people injured. Instead, Vince McMahon, notorious for playing the on-screen villain, slapped the youth with a pre-emptive lawsuit for recording the footage without permission, breaking the agreement listed both on the ticket as well as publically at the venue.

It is now up to the courts to decide whose lawsuit will trump the other. Rumors speculate the battle could take place at April's upcoming Pay-Per-View, Backlash.

ECW on Sci-Fi Results: 4-1-08

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's full report). Condensed to in-ring results only.

1 -- MIKE KNOX vs. STEVIE RICHARDS

Knox dominated early on and Knox slapped on a bear hug. Tazz said it reminds him of the Russian Bear Ivan Koloff. Yeah, that's it. Slap an accent on Knox and maybe he'll be more interesting. Richards broke free then avoided a top rope splash from Knox. Richards pounded on Knox with kicks to the body, then covered him for a two count. Suddenly, Knox dropped Richards with a back breaker across his knee. Awkward. Knox then finished him off with a corkscrew facebuster for the win.

WINNER: Knox in 4:00. Well, Knox is apparently more valuable at this point after Richards had some momentum a month ago. Just a match. Welcome back to wrestling reality after Flair's moment last night. (1/2*)

2 -- BIG SHOW vs. COLIN DELANEY

Before the bell sounded, Colin stood nose to nipple with Show, who took a deep breath. The bell sounded and Colin started to walk, but Show followed his every move. This is great. Colin turned to walk away, but Show placed on hand on his shoulder and shrugged his shoulders. Colin could only turn and look up at him. Show then slapped on the Million Dollar Dream and the ref called for the bell. Show tossed him down to the mat and Colin spun around on the mat like a top. Show shook his head, then stepped out of the ring.

WINNER: Show in 15 seconds. No one sells a beating better than Colin Delaney. Greatness with Show playing into Colin's character. (n/a)

3 -- ECW champ KANE & C.M. PUNK vs. CHAVO GUERRERO & SHELTON BENJAMIN

Hard-hitting action early on, as all four men traded blows before Kane dumped Shelton to the outside. Kane then dumped Chavo over the top rope to the floor and the babyfaces stood tall before a break.

They returned with Punk and Kane trading control working over Shelton. Punk blocked a splash in the corner and tried the G2S, but Chavo held onto the ropes long enough for Shelton to smash him with a kick. Chavo then went to work on Punk's back and shoulders at 10:00. Punk tried to fight out of the heel corner, but Chavo cut him off and Shelton continued the beating on Punk. Chavo got caught in the corner and Punk smashed him with a running knee and bulldog. Punk finally made it to the corner and made the hot tag to Kane, who cleaned house. He ran into a back elbow from Shelton, then Shelton punted him in the chest. Kane shook it off and landed a big boot to the chest for good measure. Kane then went up top, but Chavo ran into the corner and crotched him. Punk then tagged himself in and smashed Shelton with a kick to the face. He followed with the Go 2 Sleep, then made the cover for the pin and the win. Afterward, Chavo talked trash on the outside while Kane and Punk stood tall in the ring.

WINNERS: Kane & Punk in 15:00. Good main event match to re-establish the key players on the ECW brand going forward from WrestleMania. Not going to draw big ratings, but it gives ECW an identity each week. (**)

TNA Impact! Results: 4-3-08

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's full report). Condensed to in-ring results only.

1 -- LANCE HOYT & JIMMY RAVE (w/Christy Hemme) & BLACK REIGN & RELLIK vs. CHRIS SABIN & ALEX SHELLEY & LAX (HOMICIDE & HERNANDEZ w/Salinas)

Two minutes into the match, Young bailed from ringside. Cut to a break.

Homicide made a tag to the "Mexican Superman", Hernandez, at 6:00 and Hernandez cleaned house while there were random screams from women in the building. Hernandez dumped Rave with a powerbomb. The action broke down and TNA decided now would be a good time to earn a few bucks off Robbie McAllister by having Tenay plug a TNA Mobile alert on the wrestler who was in the building last week who wasn't supposed to be here. Homicide finished off Rave with a powerbomb for the win.

Post-match: The Monsters jumped LAX. Reign then grabbed his Darkness Falls weapon to use on Hernandez, but Kaz made the save. Well, until Hoyt chokeslammed him. The fans chanted for "Super Eric" and he emerged from the entrance ramp. Young charged the ring and knocked around the heels to stand tall with Kaz. Reign was mad on the floor.

WINNERS: LAX in 7:00. Standard TNA multiple-person match that was secondary to the post-match activity. Bad call compounding the classless move with McAllister last week by plugging a hotline membership this week. (*)

2 -- TNA tag champs A.J. STYLES & TOMKO vs. RHINO & CHRISTIAN CAGE -- non-title match

Rhino and Christian took turns working on Styles until Tomko snapped Christian's neck across the top rope, setting up Styles with a leaping soccer kick to the head for a nearfall. The heels ganged up on Christian before cutting to a break.

At 8:00, they did the spot where the ref didn't see Rhino's tag from Christian, so Christian took a longer beating. One woman just kept screaming at the top of her lungs. Tomko and Styles continued to work on Christian until Christian countered a suplex with an implant DDT for a nearfall. He then made the tag to Rhino, and they did the spot again where the ref claimed he didn't see the tag. Yes, let's get the heat on the ref. Rhino then speared the ref in center ring and the action completely broke down. Rhino Gored Styles out of his boots, then Team 3D hit the ring and tackled Team Cage. They beat them down until Nash came out with a steel chair. Nash cleared the heels from the ring, then Cornette came out and called for the bell. Cornette DQ'ed Rhino for knocking down the ref.

WINNERS: Team Tomko via DQ in 12:00. As if the decision even matters. If the point was to show that refs are to be respected as an authority extension of Cornette, then Rhino should be fined and suspended from Lockdown for nailing the ref. But, that won't happen, so just a sports entertainment finish. Crowd was hot here, which was good. (*1/2)

3 -- SHARK BOY vs. ELIX SKIPPER -- Ultimate Xscape qualifying match

This wasn't that bad of a match. Shark crotched Skipper up top, then hit a huracanrana. He finished him off with a Stunner for the pin and the win. Shark joins Dutt, Curry Man, Devine, and Lethal in the Ultimate Xscape match at the PPV. Final person to be determined next week.

WINNER: Shark Boy in 5:00. Fine TV match. (*1/2)

4 -- TRACI BROOKS vs. PEYTON BANKS

Traci chased Peyton around the ring before the bell sounded, then they returned to the ring to pick up their fight. Tenay again plugged the Hotline to find out which wrestler got in trouble for being at Impact last week. The action continued with Traci spearing Peyton. Tenay announced Kong & Raisha vs. ODB & Gail at the Lockdown PPV. Traci dropped Peyton with a swinging DDT for the pin and the win.

After the match, Velvet and Angelina jumped into the ring and attacked Traci. Salinas then made the save until Traci got involved. Basketballs were bouncing everywhere until Roxxi jumped into the ring and attacked Velvet. Christy then jumped into the ring and started throwing some right hands at no one in particular. Sharmell then entered with a whip and started smacking folks. The heels bailed, then Booker T stepped out and called for his wife to get out of the ring. Sharmell tried to explain herself as they left up the entrance ramp.

WINNER: Traci in 2:00. Traci gets her revenge, then the post-match took precedent over the match. Just an excuse to get a lot of T&A in one segment.

5 -- STING vs. JAMES STORM (w/Jackie Moore)

The bell sounded and Sting knocked Storm to the floor where Sting slammed Storm head-first into the announce table. They did the traditional spot on the floor where the babyface slams the heel through the PPV poster covering the hole at the base of the grandstands. They returned to the ring at 2:00 and Jackie distracted Sting, allowing Storm to bring Sting into the ring with Orton's horizontal DDT.

Sting is still wearing the Team Cage t-shirt out of the break. Sting slammed Storm, then Storm got a thumb in the eye. Sting returned the favor - an eye for an eye - then executed a superplex for a two count. Storm with another eye poke, then he went to work on Sting with power moves. Sting came back with a Scorpion deathlock, but Jackie got involved and Morgan held her back, allowing Storm to nail Sting with a low blow. Storm picked up a baseball bat, but Morgan yanked the bat away. He tossed it to Sting, who used it while Morgan pretended to be distracted. Sting then dropped Storm with the Scorpion Death drop and Morgan counted the three count for the win.

WINNER: Sting in 9:00. Basic TNA main event with more shenanigans than wrestling. Fine set-up for the post-match angle. (**)

Post-match: Morgan raised Sting's arm, then Team Tomko confronted Morgan about what went down. Sting backed away while Ray screamed at Morgan that he's a huge screw-up. Ray shoved Morgan, then Team Cage charged the ring and a brawl broke out. Morgan surveyed the scene while Cage's team took control. Morgan then gave Devon a huge bicycle kick in the face. He picked up Styles and gave him a kinda swinging suplex while Sting watched from the outside. Team Cage hopped into the ring and stood tall with Morgan. Christian then ripped off Morgan's referee t-shirt to reveal a Team Cage t-shirt. The heels screamed and yelled and were mad on the floor. Christian yelled back that it's five-on-five. They wrapped up the show two minutes short of the top of the hour.

WWE Smackdown Results: 4-4-08

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Park's full report). Condensed to in-ring results only.

1- MVP vs. MATT HARDY

This is a non-title match. Neckbreaker by Hardy, who declined to go for the cover, instead, laying more punches to the skull of MVP. Their brawl was taken to ringside, where Hardy threw MVP into the barricade. Hard clothesline by Hardy caught MVP coming off the ropes. Montel wanted to take a breather, but Hardy went after him. Back inside, MVP took over the offense. Both men went after each other, trading forearms to the head. Porter sent Hardy’s head off the announce table. Hardy worked out of a long rest-hold with a belly-to-back suplex. Porter, though, booted Hardy in the head. Boy, Cole and Coach are really sparring with each other tonight. Hardy went to work on the left knee of MVP. He was doing so much damage that Coach and Cole called for the referee to end the match. The match seemed on the verge of losing the crowd at 10:00, with the last four or so being Hardy working on MVP’s leg. MVP went back on the advantage on the outside, and the crowd chanted “MVP sucks.” Matt came back to hit the Side Effect and hit the elbow to the back of the head off the middle rope. He went for the set-up to the Twist of Fate, but was clotheslined by the US Champ. MVP went for the kick but Hardy took out his already injured knee. Matt then hit the Twist of Fate for the pinfall victory.

WINNER: Hardy, at 11:38. Okay match, but for something that should’ve been a brawl for ten minutes, there were a lot of dull spots.

2- ZACK RYDER vs. FESTUS

Before the match, they showed a pre-taped interview with both Ryder & Hawkins from backstage. Festus took out both men at the outset. He threw Ryder out of the corner and socked Ryder in the opposite one. Ryder got on his back, so Festus flipped him over, then headbutted his chest and back. Festus threw some wild punches after getting out of an arm-bar. Flying shoulderblock hit the mark. After some more offense, Festus hit his finisher for the win.

WINNER: Festus, at 3:50. Well, they’re still getting treated like they’re the Major Brothers inside the ring, but they get to hang out with Edge, which gives them some credibility.

3- VLADIMIR KOZLOV vs. MATT BENTLEY

No music for Kozlov on the way to the ring for his Smackdown debut.. For those who’ve forgotten, he’s the “I love Double-Double-E” guy. Kozlov squashed Bentley and finished him off with a version of the Muscle Buster.

WINNER: Kozlov, at 1:12.

4- JOHN MORRISON & THE MIZ vs. SHANNON MOORE & JIMMY WANG YANG

This is non-title as well. Yang nailed a hurricanrana on Miz, then tagged in to Shannon Moore. As Yang had Morrison by the hair, Miz interfered and took out Moore. That led to Morrison hitting his finisher...for the win?

WINNERS: Morrison & Miz, at 1:34.

After the match, Great Khali came out. He took out both tag champs, then pulled Yang into the ring by his head (Yang was standing on the outside) and press-slammed him back to the floor. Moore received the Khali Bomb. Khali got the mic and did some talking, though none of it you could understand. That led to Big Show coming out. They went toe-to-toe. Show said Monday night Khali was in his house and tonight, he’s in Khali’s. Khali simply walked away. Show still had the bruise from Mayweather’s punch on Sunday night.

5- KANE vs. UNDERTAKER

They pushed each other away on consecutive lock-ups. Hip-toss and bodyslam by Kane for two. Taker worked over Kane’s left arm. After a stalemate, Taker took out Kane’s leg. Kane prevented Taker from going Old School, but the World Champ still had his little brother by the arm. Clean break in the corner, followed by a slap and some trash talk by Kane. So Taker gave him a punch to the jaw. Another slap from Kane. The two men traded haymakers in the middle of the ring. Kane got the boot up and kicked Taker in the face. Taker pounded at Kane in the corner, then dumped him over the top rope to the floor. Back in the ring, both men were on their knees and the hitting continued. Taker grabbed Kane by the throat, and Kane did the same. They hit stereo big boots and both men landed on their backs on the mat. Then, they both sat up at the same time. The EdgeHeads, Edge and Chavo all came out for the DQ, attacking both men.

WINNERS: No Contest, at 9:14.

The four men attacked, then gloated. Both Taker and Kane sat up again and destroyed the four. Edge and Chavo both got chokeslammed. Tombstone to both men as well. Kane and Undertaker stood with their titles raised as the show ended.

well i finally got around to getting back in the thread. to be honest wrestlemania was shit. it was the worst wrestlemania in years. best match was flair and michaels. and honestly who cares? i don't like ric flair, he's an old man who should have retired years ago. and shawn michaels is getting old too and needs to drop the game as well.

though i am sad i missed dean malenko on raw. the last of the last horsemen, and the last of the radicalz (well other than perry saturn). i really feel for the guy.

WWE RAW Results: 4-7-08

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's full report). Condensed to in-ring results only.

1 -- UMAGA vs. VAL VENIS

Umaga dominated this one rather handily. He landed the running rear end splash in the corner, then smashed Venis with the Spike for the win.

WINNER: Umaga in 4:00. Picture every other Umaga squash extrapolated over four minutes. Just a chance to get Umaga back on the winning track after losing to Batista in the Mania stinker. (1/2*)

2 -- MELINA & JILLIAN HALL vs. ASHLEY & MICKIE JAMES

Ross: "Ashley always has (pause) interesting combat attire." Yes, that's one way to put it. A lot of action to start with, then after the action broke down, Mickie finished off Melina with the lift-up DDT for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Mickie in 3:00. Nice seeing Mickie back in a strong position on TV. She should have been in the Mania picture, but that's neither here nor there. (1/2*)

3 -- CADE & MURDOCH vs. KENDRICK & LONDON

Murdoch quickly dumped Kendrick to the outside, then Cade missed with an elbow smash on London. Murdoch tripped London from behind, allowing the heels to start working over London in their corner. Lawler questioned Murdoch's tan and wondered if his skin color is the product of a tanning bed. Ross said he doesn't mess with those rascals. Kendrick took the hot tag at 3:00, and the action kinda broke down. Suddenly, Kendrick rolled up Murdoch for the pin and the win after Kendrick played opossum on the mat. Afterward, Cade screamed and shouted at Murdoch for screwing up again.

WINNERS: Kendrick & London in 4:00. Back to the basic WWE TV tag match with the usual post-match argument between Cade and Murdoch. (1/2*)

4 -- WWE champion RANDY ORTON & JBL vs. TRIPLE H

Stips: Hunter qualifies for Backlash main event title match if he wins this match. Orton and Hunter started things off, with Orton taking early control. JBL then tagged in and he took Hunter to the corner. The ref called for a break, and JBL slowly backed away from Hunter with neither man taking his eyes off the other man. Nicely done. Orton and JBL then double-teamed Hunter in their corner to set up Orton's methodical attack on Hunter. Hunter tried to make his comeback at 6:00, but Orton caught him off the ropes with a nice spinebuster for a nearfall. At 8:00, JBL had Hunter lined up for the Clothesline from Hell, but Orton blind-tagged himself into the ring. JBL was indignant, but Orton said he had it. Orton then went for the RKO, but Hunter shoved Orton into JBL. Orton then rebounded into the Pedigree from Hunter for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Hunter in 8:00. Decent handicap match with the heels stumbling and bumbling into a loss. (*1/2)

5 -- World tag champs HARDCORE HOLLY & CODY RHODES vs. SANTINO MARELLA & CARLITO -- non-title match

The match started with Ross talking about Carlito being the son of Carlos Colon. Lawler asked who Santino's father is. After a pause, Ross said he's the son of Mr. Marella. A minute into the match, Holly had Santino set up for the Alabama Slam, but Carlito broke it up. They had some confusion over who was the legal man, then the heels worked over Holly. Rhodes took the hot tag at 4:00 and crotched Santino. Santino knocked Cody to the mat, though, and nailed his "patriotic salute" diving elbow from the top rope for the pin and the win.

WINNERS: Carlito & Santino in 5:00. Another basic WWE TV tag match. Santino's salute elbow smash is stellar, but I'd rather hear him on the mic than see him in the ring. (*)

6 -- Women's champ BETH PHOENIX vs. MARIA -- non-title match

Maria charged Beth to start things off, and she fired up with some slaps to the face. She tried that handstand spot, but Beth was like, "no way" and shoved her to the mat. Beth then applied a sort of Texas Cloverleaf/Liontamer into a back-bending backbreaker. Goodness, that was awesome. Suddenly, Maria went for a roll-up, but Beth kicked out just before two. Maria made her comeback, and landed a reverse DDT after blocking a fireman's carry move. Beth hung out Maria across the top rope, then landed the fisherman buster suplex for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Beth in 4:00. That was a decent TV match. Maria showed good fire and Beth pulled out the victory with power offense. (*)

7 -- JOHN CENA vs. TRIPLE H & JBL

Stips: Cena qualifies for Backlash main event title match if he wins this match. The bell sounded and Randy Orton walked to ringside for a closer look at the action. Orton also served as a distraction against Cena, allowing JBL to tee off on Cena. And JBL kept nailing Cena while teasing Hunter with a tag. Cena fought back and the males booed his comeback. JBL then walked over to his corner for a tag, but he just teased Hunter again. JBL knocked Cena to the floor at 4:00 and smashed him into the guardrail before taking Cena back into the ring for a nearfall.

Cena made his full comeback at 7:00 and JBL tried to stumble over to his corner to make a tag, but Hunter pulled his hand away to give JBL a taste of his own medicine. Cena then dropped JBL with the Five Knuckle Shuffle as the males booed like mad. JBL tried made another tag, but Hunter pulled away again. Cena then went for the FU, but JBL escaped and nailed a big boot to the face. JBL came up to one knee and stared a hole in Hunter, who told him to get back on the offensive. Suddenly, JBL and Hunter broke out into a brawl, which spilled to the outside. JBL accidentally nailed Orton, then Orton jumped into the ring and gave JBL an RKO out of frustration. Cena dumped Orton to the outside, then he pinned JBL in center ring while Hunter watched from the apron.

Post-match: Hunter and Cena stared at each other while standing over JBL's fallen body. Orton hobbled on one good leg on the floor before holding up his WWE Title belt to close the show.

WINNER: Cena in 9:00. Eventful match to set up the dynamic for the four-way match at Backlash. Right now, it doesn't make much sense for Hunter to allow Cena into the match to reduce his own odds of winning the WWE Title, but I'm sure we'll get an explanation. Well, maybe. (*1/2)

Just got back :) The show was pretty damn good. After Raw went off, HHH grabbed a chair, and stood over Cena. But then he just went "Naa" and threw it. As he was getting out of the ring, the boos were pretty overwhelming, so he lipped something like "Ah, what the fuck" (And yes, it was fuck hah) and Pedigreed Cena in the middle. Cena ended with some talking, and that was it.

Its possible, they didnt even check anyone for video cameras or anything. Hacksaw Jim Duggan wrestled for Heat before Raw, and was pretty awesome, crowd was into that match quite a bit.

WWE's been cracking down on health all around. Apparently, they got worried about Big Daddy V and sent him home to lose some weight:
http://www.pwheadlines.com/wrestlin..._daddy_vs_whereabouts_-_health_concerns.shtml

Apparently, Big Daddy V, who was originally one of the most pushed guys for the ECW title battle royal at WrestleMania, was pulled from the show due to issues stemming from his weight.

The word going around is that WWE officials were concerned about his health and sent him home to drop weight.

ECW on Sci-Fi Results: 4-8-08

Results courtesy of PWTorch.com (direct link to Caldwell's full report). Condensed to in-ring results only.

1 -- THE MIZ (w/John Morrison) vs. C.M. PUNK

The bell sounded and Punk pointed at Morrison, who claimed Punk is scared of him. The fans cheered for Punk, so Morrison cut a promo on society. He said fans shouldn't follow a loser like Punk, but a role model like himself. Styles was left out of the conversation for a while. Back in the ring, Punk worked on Miz's left knee with submission holds and kick strikes. Morrison called Punk over-rated, then said he'd like to expose Punk as being more over-rated than a Ric Flair send-off video. Punk found himself on the apron, then he pointed at Morrison, allowing Miz to smash Punk off the apron into the announce table. Punk made a comeback at 5:00 with a springboard clothesline, but Morrison got up from the announce table and distracted Punk, allowing Miz to hit a weak-looking clothesline for a close nearfall. Crowd was hot for the false finish. Ref Armstrong then gave Morrison the boot for his interference. They cut to a break with Miz working on Punk with a submission hold.

They returned with Miz still in control working on Punk's shoulders and back. They suddenly broke into a Lucha double run-the-ropes spot where each man kept running until they knocked each other down with a double clothesline. Punk was the first to his feet and he landed back hand slaps, followed by a powerslam for a nearfall. Miz drove Punk into the ring corner, then he nailed a leaping clothesline through the ropes. He grazed Punk with a slingshot splash from the apron for a nearfall, but Punk came to his feet and abruptly nailed an enziguiri kick. Nice. Punk followed with the knee strike and a bulldog, followed by the Go 2 Sleep. Just like that, Punk with the cover for the win.

WINNER: Punk in 15:00. Nice match with two acts to the story. Morrison helped them navigate the setting-the-stage portion of the match, which can often drag on TV. The second act was a nice showcase of wrestling (well, except for a few of Miz's moves), focusing on C.M. Punk's offensive repertoire. (**1/2)

2 -- ELIJAH BURKE vs. NUNZIO

All right, Burke should be back on the winning track tonight. Styles and Tazz talked about not being accustomed to seeing Kane taken out like that. Good reinforcement of the previous segment. Burke punted Nunzio in the head early in the match, then he came off the top with a leaping fist smash for a nearfall. Nunzio made his obligatory two-punch comeback, but Burke landed a German Suplex. He measured Nunzio for the Elijah Express, but Nunzio was lifeless in the ring. Burke then picked up the dead weight and dropped Nunzio with a legsweep/clothesline combo for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Burke in 3:00. Good to see Burke back on the winning side of things. As with Mickie on Raw, bets are off on whether WWE follows up. (1/2*)

3 -- DOMINO vs. KOFI KINGSTON

Early on, Kofi landed a leaping Bronco Buster as Domino was perched up top in the corner, then Domino came back with a top rope face plant for a one count. Domino worked the back, then Kofi slipped out of a standing back breaker and he made a comeback with clotheslines. Kofi did his boom-boom leg drop, then he missed with a flying splash. Domino charged him off the ropes, but Kofi surprised him with the Jamaican Buzzsaw for the pin and the win.

WINNER: Kofi Kingston in 5:00. Basic TV match. Still a work-in-progress with Kofi. (3/4*)

4 -- TOMMY DREAMER vs. COLIN DELANEY

Stips: Colin gets a contract if he wins; Dreamer is fired if he loses. The bell sounded and Dreamer grabbed Colin with a waistlock and drove him into the ropes. Colin tried to return the favor, but Dreamer put him in a hammerlock. Colin tried to come back with a roll up, but he couldn't even manage a one count. Dreamer landed a hard clothesline, then he hip tossed him half-way across the ring. Dreamer charged Colin against the ropes, but Colin pulled the ropes down and Dreamer flew to the floor. Colin suddenly came over the top with a plancha.

Colin rolled Dreamer into the ring, then he landed a springboard dive for a one count. Another one count on an Oklahoma Roll. Dreamer then cut him off and took Colin up top for a superplex, but Colin knocked him off the top to the mat. Colin missed with a top rope dropkick, then Dreamer shoved him hard into the corner turnbuckle. Dreamer nailed the basement dropkick with Colin upside down in the corner, then Dreamer nailed a spike DDT in center ring after a brief pause to ponder the consequences. Dreamer made the cover for the pin and the win. Armando simply chuckled from ringside.

Afterward, Dreamer helped Colin to his feet as Armando gave them a sarcastic round of applause from ringside. Dreamer gave Colin a post-match pep talk as Styles and Tazz plugged Kane and Taker on the show next week. End show.

WINNER: Dreamer in 5:00. Fine match, but nothing to get excited about since Dreamer hasn't been positioned as a top act on ECW in months. There's still the weekly intrigue to see where Colin's program is leading to. (*1/4)
