It would almost certainly be confusing for kids and/or casual fans, but there's a storyline opp here.

Rey Mysterio is FINALLY free from his contract! He's going to Lucha Underground/AAA next. His indy booking price is $20k! Kinda fair considering his credentials.

Raw was good! Like night and day from the past few months or so. Good job setting up stories:

1. Rollins and Orton, loving the slow burn on this. Orton and Rollins are really good cutting promos together.

2. Nattie and Tyson Kidd (and Cesaro)- holy hell, is it ever nice to see both of these two (and Cesaro) doing something useful. Kidd is a great heel and amazingly talented, and this is easily my favorite Nattie ever.

3. Miz/Mizdow: didn't like the dumb Viagra commercial, but Miz and Sandow are both really, really good in this program (Miz plays this character VERY well). Can't wait for the WM match, and judging by crowd reaction (and it was a tough crowd), neither can the rest of fans.

4. IC title picture- my Lord, the IC title might start to mean something again. Taking the three most popular faces and adding BNB (very over and good in the ring) and Harper is pretty sweet. Even Truth is entertaining. Should be a hell of a match.

5. The Cena storyline. Loved Steph's (near) babyface promo. That was risky by creative though, it really did make Steph look better than deluded Cena (though maybe that was the goal).

6. Divas- damn, seeing AJ and Paige together again just makes everyone else look so bad. My guess is Nikki has to defend against Paige, AJ, and Charlotte, and Charlotte wins the belt at WM.

And Jon Stewart and Rollins were great. Stewart was really good, and Rollins showed just how good he's gotten on the mic. Plus he sold that nutshot like a champ.

Granted, I really don't like Bray having to carry the entire program with Taker on his own, same with Heyman for Lesnar, and Reigns still sucks (I swear the Superman Punch is getting worse). Plus Hunter's promo was bizarre, and Booker was forced into some serious revisionist history talking about Hunter keeping Sting out of WWE. And Reigns is now being protected near the level of Cena.

Still, excellent show that made me much more confident heading into WM.

edit: okay, as pointed out in The AV Club, it's probably more likely that Paige and AJ are against the Bellas at WM. Charlotte was supposed to be in the Divas match, originally (maybe AJ deciding to come back changed that), so I'll go back to my first prediction that she'll show up at the first Raw after and beat Nikki for the belt.

edit 2: so Bill DeMott is apparently quite a dick at NXT.

Nothing new. Demott's heavy handedness goes way back to his days at the power plant (remember when he made the reporter puke for asking about kayfabe?)

All the good talents to come out of developmental were essentially trained by Dr. Tom Prichard at FCW (of which the NXT brand operated out of). You almost never hear any wrestlers say anything good about Bill Demot. Dr. Tom on the other hand, is the opposite.

The more jobs that Joe Henning does, the more popular he gets.

Good that he finally has a gimmick that fits him. I hope he is on the house show I'm going to this Friday. He really deserves so much better than how he has been treated.

Bill DeMott must have something on HHH or the McMahons if he's able to keep his job after all of this.

I don't understand how DeMott got the job in the first place, I need to relisten to Cabanas podcast with Tom Pritchard.

I'm baffled as well as he even pops up on doc segments to bury people who've done more then he ever did

Dropping the "Better than Perfect" helped, it must have, I for one hated it, he is no way better than his pops.

Magilicutty is good when he wants to be, he has the tools to be great, my guess, he chooses not to be great. This whole Axelmania is lame, it gets attention...big fucking deal. He should work more on his matches and look better even while loosing. Short matches don't necessarily equal boring ass dumb half witted matches. Make it shine and people will back you up.

Your meaning of "good" in this subject scares me, you sound like you know about the business so why is your "good" so not good at all?

His matches are hamstrung by creative.

If he wasn't any good, he wouldn't have been sent out to prep Dwayne Johnson.

I never said he wasn't any good, he's good but he hasn't been doing good for a long time...and I don't mean winning matches. His double axle drop is so fugly lately, the little personality that it used to have has been washed away by mediocre execution.

His last semi-good run was with Ryback, they both got better working together, they split and now they suck again, Ryback not as much 'cause you can tell he's trying but his routine still needs a lot of work.

Bill is done. Looks like the freight engine picked up a lot of steam after that complaint got to Reddit and elsewhere.

Good to hear, fuck that guy. Seems entirely likely to me, at least, that Billy Gunn will get offered the spot, though I think it would be cool if Sara Del Rey had first shot at it.

quote from DeMott: "I deny the recent allegations made about me, however, to avoid any embarrassment or damage to the WWE, I've decided to step down from my role effective immediately." Which, of course means "Paul Levesque has given me the chance to leave now or be fired, and I'd really rather not have any more details come out."

I'm glad they asked him to leave, I can't believe people stood for that shit, I'd fucken wacked him something fierce if he came to me with that shit. I mean, well, I'm sure there are ways to avoid this kind of shit from happening but still. People like this usually prey on the weak, fucken stand up to the fucker and let him have it. I'm glad someone finally did even though he endured more than he should have, he came through in the end.

jro, not long ago (The last RAW I believe), you mentioned it being great, that it was the best show you seen in months story wise (or something like it), I don't see it, last 2, 3, 4, 5 RAW's have been so tameis not even funny. It's like HQ said; "Hey, let's slow it down out there and bring the pace to a crawl so we can easily bring it up a notch and look good for wrestlemania"...oh lazy bums.

On another note. Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns suck, both of them do and they have been for a very fucken long time. DB got trendy...big deal he still a chump.

I smell Rollins trying to get in the main even at WM31 for a triple threat. It could be cool but Reigns is gonna suffer even further, he needs to do this alone and he needs to be crucified by Lesnar, it's the only way he can earn that support that will get him over DB for good.

Also I'm sick of this chants:

This is awesome
Yes yes yes

Specially NXT's little homeboys brigade of chanting douches, arrrggh bunch of pansies!

Taz dropped a reaction podcast with a great take on the DeMott situation today.

Still, not sad to see him go and imho nothing of value was lost. All the great main roster NXT guys were trained under Tom Prichard while it was still FCW.

Taz is another fuckface though. I saw him as a trainer and I thought he was a prick, stupid little shitty attitude for no fucken reason whatsoever. You can train hard as fuck and still be a good coach without all the horse shit. Fuck Taz!

After listening to him on Colt's show I hope they make the call and get Dr. Tom back. He sounds like a really nice guy and not like an asshole that just makes people do 1,000 squats until they throw up and trying make everybody take bumps the exact same. Wonder if they can dig up some dirt on that rat faced bastard Kevin Dunn and get rid of him and bring in somebody with some passion for making good wrestling on television.

Quite truthfully I think Sara Del Rey would be the best choice for the job. She's clearly an excellent trainer, phenomenal results from the ladies she's trained. Why not be progressive and give her the top title?
