What was the last Neo game you played in 2020?

I played some MOTW (AES) last week. Might start the new year with some Last Blade I think.

League Bowling. Got it for Christmas and it's seem almost daily play since then.

Okay, good. I don't have to pretend to like it then.

Sonic Wings 3 has been my project game lately, so a lot of that. Although my partner is quite fond of Twinkle Star Sprites, so we played some of that on New Years day as well.

I might not have even played a Neo Geo game in 2020. It was such a weird year, I know the last one I played was Puzzle Bobble, but I am not sure if that was in 2019 or 2020.

I played a ton of Puzzle Bobble in 2020. My daughter is 4 and finally old enough to get how these things work, and can actually beat the first couple of stages on her own already. I still whoop her ass in vs mode though.

RBFFS. It has been a couple years since I played that... I got my ass kicked like 10 times by Krauser and then I shut the fucking game off. I really suck at that game now, I will blame it on old man reflexes.

In all honesty I just don't play Neo Geo stuff often enough to be good, these days.

It was either GanGan or The Last Blade 2.

The aircraft construction stage rules. Game is a gem!

I was blown away the first time I saw Hon Fu’s stage. It’s FF3 over the first Real Bout for me, though RBS is my favorite Fatal Fury title.

Real Bout 2, using Duck King for the first time, the guy is crazy with all his break dancing.

Last game of 2020 would have to be Windjammers.

Some gaming moments stay with you. Hon Fu's stage has stayed with me these 16 years since I first experienced it.

Some of us certainly do. We were working on/discussing 3 Count Bout 1cc tactics (non-autofire):

Well I don't hate it, it just seems that more work could have been done to the grapple mechanic, like not being automatic and hard to avoid in the first place. It's just not fun at the end of the day and the unbalanced AI just exacerbates that. It's too bad really because Fire Suplex is one of those games you WANT to like (I certainly tried).
