Hey,
havent posted here for a while..
i got some serious problems with my neo geo mvs 4 slot mobo..

2 weeks ago i plugged my DIY consolized mvs, which worked flawlessly since i made it, back onto my OSSC and wanted to play some oldschool games with a friend.

so it worked but i realised a lot of background noise on both channels.
so since the mainboard didnt get any new caps i thought it would be a good idea to change em.
So i bought a full kit and started to replace them today at work (im working as an electronic engineer).
so i swapped em all and tried it out when i arrived at home.

so now, the problem hasnt gone, theres still lots of background noise, BUT
now it will just show the crosshatch without a cart inside.
if i put a cart into any slot, it will boot the unibios 4.0 where i can check each slot working perfectly (no checksum errors), but doesnt do anything else...

without game crosshatch or with a game just unibios screen. the screen turns black after that and doesnt boot.. - both in unibios screen or crosshatch there are no grafical issues.

do you have any ideas what could be the problem?
the battery got replaced years ago and i just put in a new battery.

also the +12 and +5V are stable.

since the schematics and pictures on jammanationx are offline i could also need a circuit diagram.

sorry for my bad english ;)

It sounds like you have hard dip 8 in the on position, which is pause.
