Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable on August 1

Since Evo, etc was cancelled, this event may provide us with some good SNK news and updates:



Arc System Works, Arika, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Koei Tecmo, and SNK will host the “Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable” on August 1 at 9:00 JST.

The program will feature producers and directors from Japanese publishers that make and sell fighting games, who will discuss themes chosen by users beforehand about fighting games, eSports, and more from the perspective of developers.

Saw this earlier and was going to post it glad you did it for me. Not going to have high expectations but hopefully some good things will come out of it. How about some new company collaborations? Nice they’re engaging with their fans

Nice man let's see if snk has any thing to announce on KOF15 they been rather quiet on it.

Really underwhelming, it was the event to announce other announcements. Nothing new from SNK, they just showed the new SamSho free DLC character from the Tencent game, that was already announced. Seems like we still have to wait at least a month or so for some real news. (Tokyo Game Show)

Really, the Guilty Gear games are the only ones that are living up to the legacy of the great fighting games in terms of art design.

I'm sick of Capcom and zombie SNK's cheap bullshit. Street Fighter games shouldn't look like low budget garbage.

At least Guilty Gear looks like real artists worked on it.
