Here are two simple questions I can’t seem to find the answer to.
I am getting this board shortly and I’m going to make an arcade cabinet for it. One thing i we’ll need is a video converter. All the converters I found on line that are CGA to VGA or HDMI have the fifth pin as H-SYNC.
In the manual for the board, it lists that pin as VIDEO SYNC.
What is VIDEO SYNC, is it H SYNC, V SYNC or both?
And if it is V SYNC, will it work with these converters, even though the pin is listed as H SYNC? I feel like it won’t, or the screen will be rotated 90 degrees.
