Some of my favorites:

Magician Lord
Top Player’s Golf (lovely FM synth)
2020 super baseball
Fatal Fury 1
Metal slug 2
Metal slug 3
Last blade 1
The samurai shodowns
Can’t really pick a favourite KOF, they’re all pretty good

This is one of my favorite reinterpretations of the AOF theme. It starts acoustic and moves into 00 inspired dirty fuzz techno.

The “how to play” music in Fight Fever isn’t actually that bad. :lolz:

MOTW is still fantastic

I’ve been really getting into Neo Geo CD and wow are the arranged soundtracks good. Top Player’s Golf is truly wonderful, it might actually be better than the FM cartridge synth

I know I've said KOF'96 but Quiz Daisousasen has a great sound track, specifically 'POLICE' which is at 10:55

'INVESTIGATION REQUEST' is also great at 01:37 along with 'DEFEATED SOLDIERS' at 07:54

When I was younger, my family would go on summer vacation in Colorado every year. The hotel we'd always stay at had a big red cab. I would just play Fatal Fury 2 until i ran out of money. The Big Bear stage always blew my tits off with the music.

I can advise that sheep around Ayres Rock in the Northern Territory is a grossly incorrect depiction.

Yes, and I was also shocked to find that almost the exact same tune is also in Fatal Fury 1!

Lightweights, I played Fatal fury 1 first. raiden / big bear’s stage music is superior in FF1.

ASOII for me. Every stage has an outstanding soundtrack (with very clear audio/mixing quality) which catches the mood of the game perfectly. The "problem" with Neo is--> too many excellent OSTs to choose from.

I think SNK should be getting more credit how awesome their soundteams were.

I love Mahjong Chad Story for the Enka music and I regret nothing.

I like Shock Troopers with that rock riff and the Nam-1975 very atmospheric soundtrack.

King of Fighters 96 I like a lot too but all KOF games have great tracks.

Pulstar music sounds superb too.

Viewpoint is excellent. Really suits the game.
