    megadrive 2 humming sound

    Hello, have anyone else solved the humming iusse on megadrive 2?

    If you're talking about humming over the audio, it's a known issue with certain revisions. A lot of the time it's crappy cables, particularly if you're using RGB cables or newer generic AV cables. If you're using RGB you want to use the high quality extra grounded why-is-this-so-expensive cables, it doesn't totally eliminate it but it helps a great deal. If you have a Sega CD use the audio jacks on it instead.

    i installed mega amp and i am using good quality video cable.

    It could be your install. You might want to check your connections.

    Before you do that if you have a spare tv and/or spare cables, you should test them all out.

    For Mega Amp install I always run a separate audio output. I just use a panel mount headphone jack near the existing AV out, it helps a lot.
