So I have an Omega I got from ArcadeWorks back in 2016. This is what I get when powering it on without a cart in the slot.

I don't have any soldering tools or skills to attempt a repair myself. Can anyone recommend someone reputable to repair it, or have any idea what the issue might be?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

When you press B to force AES mode, do you still get sound?

So if I have a cart in the slot and power-on, it behaves more or less normally, but I am getting sound in AES mode.

Getting sound in AES mode means the sound chip isn't busted. Due to the nuances of the MV-1C of not having a real Z80, the box for ignoring HW test in the unibios settings needs to be checked.
