I just pulled the trigger and ordered 33 of the neo mini boxes from the guy on ebay. His shipping rates just went down, so that helped with that decision. I do like the shock boxes, so i'll probably just buy 5 at a time until I have enough for all of them...The mini boxes will work great in the mean time, and who knows maybe i'll decide to ditch shock boxes altogether.
He started using eBay worldwide shipping, so his rates got cut in half. That's what prompted me to buy 20 boxes from him

I'd prefer all shockboxes, but I've been using kit boxes if I have them and some are unfortunately loose as well.

I keep mine in a cardboard box. With bubblewrap. I just get them out to play them and put them away after.

I have one games shelf in my house and I change the games on it so there's only maybe 30 games on display at any time. (not all Neo Geo games). I put MVS games on there raw with no outer box. I like them like that.

I started using MVS cart protectors and lining the insides with shockbox art. Looks nice on the shelf, and doesnt take up too much space:

Loose like a dirty hippy for the most part. If I happen to buy the kit or they come with shockboxes that's fine too.

I have a mix of them all. Shockboxes for the ones I want to "show off". Original kit boxes if they happen to come with them. And my cheapo "mini kit" cardboard boxes for the rest for some simple but cheap drop protection because I have butterfingers sometimes.

Fancy shock boxes all with matching artwork styles on the inserts, I love the clean and uniform look on the shelf. (except for super dodge ball which sadly doesn't have artwork in the same style :()
