Clickbait. I'll watch it, it seems interesting to see other perspectives as long as it's more than just bitching. Sequalitis did a good comparison on how Ocarina of Time was a big LttP ripoff and not as engaging.

Super Metroid, one of the best games of its generation. Countless developers and studios cite it as a source of inspiration and role model. It gave a whole subgenre with a lot of acolytes on foot in the indie scene: the metroidvania (because the Castlevania saga adopted, after Symphony of the Night, a similar development).

I agree, the controls have not aged well. Especially wall jumping.
I also feel in a post Hollow Knight world, it's hard to go back to earlier metroidvania games. HK changed everything.

That's the one major flaw in the game. That wall jump is way too hard to do until you get used to it. I got suck for a long time on my initial play trying to figure out the timing.

I watched this guy and just sat there to see how long I could stand the way he was talking. I'm like god damn please stop mixing Japanese and English in the way you speak and fucking fix your god damn way of speaking. I know for a fact this motherfucker never spoke like this before.
