Recently repaired AES 3-5 hardware test failure

I recently repaired a 3-5 from a bad unibios install and it worked. I didn't use it for a bit and I ended up modding it for s video since I had the parts. When I put the bios in It gave me a hardware test failure and gave me no address read or write. I reseated the unibios multiple times. When I force it to AES it works fine. What could be the reason?

More information on the error is needed. It should tell you what failed.

Place the original bios in and see what happens. There may be a missed or bad connection with that repair or you may need to purchase or burn a new bios.

The bios is either corrupted or the install is still not good. Fix this first and then go from there.
