Neo Geo CD turns on and of

    Hey.
Today I was visiting my brother and we played a bit with his NEO GEO CD Pal Version with 50/60HZ switch. At the beginning it it turns on and off over and over again and always stays a little longer on, til it stays on. It was minimum 20 times til it works right. Is this a known problem?

    Thanks and greetings
    Alex

PSU capacitors can cause that! The small one in the middle of the board (1uF) is likely the culprit as it was in my PSU.
My YouTube channel contains some MVS repairs and stuff:-

Yeah sounds like a power supply issue.

I would do as others said and check the caps, but I had an issue similar. Oddly enough it was the prongs on the power supply. I squeezed the rubber plug with some pliers and it's been fine since.
