Anesan would be proud (which is currently perhaps the only all girls gang beat em up game that isnt of the magical girls kind)

it's about time a new all girls beat em up emerges, and from top quality developers like Arc System Works and WayForward! PS4 is sure to get games like Shantae 5 and ASW's next fighting games, so it makes sense for River City Girls to be playable on PS4.
I guess it will have at least 2 player's co-op, perhaps 'open world' like the classic RCR where players can freely enter shops, eat, drink, etc. to power up stats and stuff. though it would be extra awesome if its 4 players co-op like SPvsTW, though the level design should be connected like classic RCR. though the more levels the better. and of course the girls should look really attractive and feminine. and it makes sense to have stuff like being able to throw weapons and neat stunts.
art direction and character designs are gonna be essential to help the game be appealing. the PS4 fanbase is kinda divided on the new Samurai Shodown look. perhaps River City Girls could have an appealing artstyle to it. the sprites should not be so superdeformed though. it would be nice if there's a more tall and natural proportioned River City game, you know kinda like how Final Fight and Sailor Moon arcade games make the characters look natural instead of looking like childish midgets. like its 2019. even Streets of Rage 4 is going for a more mature design direction (though that series always was rather more realistic with character proportions).
its messed up Phantom Breaker battlegrounds went the cheap superdeformed look instead of its pristine look its fighting game has.
the beat em up genre should be more serious and professional with its designs if devs want the genre to catch up with the fighting genre.
River City Girls could be the closest thing to a next gen Sailor Moon / Anesan beat em up on PS4!
