The strip is a horrible tourist trap. It's a Disneyland for adults meant to in one way or another extract every last cent from you.

Every hotel has almost the exact same games especially when it comes to table games. They're all the ones with horrible odds. Everybody knows if you want to be able to pretend to have the slightest chance of winning play on Freemont street.

That being said what's your favorite casino on the strip? I dunno I've always had fun at Bally's. By and large its nasty and has a bunch of crappy games but I still always enjoy myself, dunno why. Maybe I respect it's video game history.

I got a mostly comped room last time at the Bellagio and I didn't like it. Might be the pretentiousness or how I lost money with a quickness. Mostly though I think it's how it seemed like I had to walk what felt like three miles to get from my hotel to the nearest corner of the strip.

I don't gamble, but I do like Fremont Street at night.

I think I remember the Hard Rock Hotel having a fun pool party. The Palazzo was okay too, nice rooms, but don't expect a crazy party. I would avoid any of the budget places like Circus Circus, at all costs, although do go there if you want to experience the smells and sights that HST had in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, because that shit has not changed, or been fumigated.

Last time I stayed at the Riveria, I regretted it but wanted to stay at a place with a history before it got torn down.

I haven't seen them all, but my favorite so far is The Venetian / Palazzo complex.

i guess it depends if you are looking for a nice hotel experience, or gambling.

This. I usually stay at the Bally’s properties in LV as I use whatever card I have from Caesars AC or Harrahs Chester, PA. I generally go to AC and Chester maybe once a year if at all, but I used to do Las Vegas once a year every year, but now it’s every other year as I got tired of paying the resort fees tacked on to my stay.

They are all about the same gambling wise but I guess if I had to pick one on the strip I’d go with New York, New York for the “experience.” I think Fremont Street generally seems more crazy than the strip when I’ve been there, I've stayed up there as well as the strip.

Last time I was in Vegas I went to the Chinatown strip mall, had some Korean, and went to Game Nest arcade for some Darius Burst and some Sega "touch screen" game that was a nice excursion away from the casinos, I'd like to do that again when I am in town.

Do you shit on the ground in public, then pick it up w/ one of those doggy waste bags?

I mean, c’mon man.

Unless you wanna shit into a bag perma, (read: colostomy bag) from holding it in too much and breaking your ass-

I usually stay at either the MGM Grand or the Trop (cheap strip properties that are still pretty well maintained). For gambling, I spend most of my time at the Aria or the Bellagio but I'm there for poker so YMMV if you're looking for cheap blackjack or loose slots.

Fremont's great if you want a taste of old, dirty Vegas and it's fun to hit the Golden Nug or Binion's to see old people gamble their social security checks away but I wouldn't stay at any of those places unless you like bedbugs or the smell of potpourri and cigarettes.

What's up with the state of video poker these days? All the machines are from 1992. Yeah I love retro gaming but not when it comes to gambling. Paris had the best buffet I've ever been to. Even though i've never eaten them they had escargot. Just imagine all the snails you can eat! Paris had this table Poker game I like last time but it was gone now.

dude, buffet escargot? Right down there with buffet oysters, buffet raw fish, and buffet steak tartar. I already had dysentery once. Not again.

Worst food poisoning I have ever had was from Prime Rib in Vegas, definitely watch what I eat when I'm there.

oh they update video poker with new variants. triple double bonus poker .... They also add to the cost from 4 credit to 5 credits to get the full payout.

I usually only hit up video poker to get a quick drink and dont want to sit at my preferred real poker table.

Go to the old strip and hit up 4 Queens. It's by far my favorite.
