Can't remember the last one I took. I've gone to work sick, been sent home sick or have left early but at the least I show though in Arizona, employees are given 5 paid sick days a year.

To be clear - you mean minimum (5) days for a full-time employee per state law (prop 206). There are many employers who give more.

the reason companies moved away from sick days is the majority of people use them as vacation.

No, I wasn't thinking of anger/rage, more of some guys just being whiny/irritable in general and somebody maybe concocting the man flu concept as a way to describe it. Again, that was just what flashed through my mind before I actually read anything; I didn't think the topic was going to be about the actual flu.
