This sure is refreshing from the usual RPGs that exclusively pander to western characterizations, enviornments and themes. There should be more types of RPGs that are pure Chinese, as well as other games based on different ethnicities and cultures.
its great Chinese developers are more proud of their people than even Japanese (Japanese developers mostly suck up to western purists and western ideals, When japanese devs are not doing that, their "japanese" characters are mostly just racial diluted anime blobs that dont even look asian, unless its a Yakuza game, Disaster Report, or a rare photorealistic game like Sony's Siren 1 and especially Siren 2.)
yea sure even Sword and Fairy has a 'anime' edge to its character designs, but heck, compared to Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, Sword and Fairy 6 characters make most Dynasty Warriors/SW characters look like westernized white washed caucasian europeans. the oversaturation of western glorification across east and western developers has been extreme and downright fanatical over the generations.
So it really is refreshing to see a 100% Chinese RPG that leans more towards pure Chinese representation instead of being just another western themed game.
So it s a great priviledge that people with PS4 in the west (and other regions) that arent racist nor xenophobic can play a genuine Chinese RPG that is Chinese themed .
