Have you tried yours in a multi slot yet? I have trouble selecting games that use banks like TSS and Captain Tomaday. The CRC check comes up NG on the banks. Games that have no banks or custom banks work fine.
yes, I tried on my slot-4 and now TSS or Miracle Adventure, WH2 will not reset anymore after the first loop. I'd say now it's perfect to me.

Are you using original bios or UNIBIOS? I'm using 2.3.
Original JPN, they sent me a second version with the fix, so in case I think you should contact them again.
