NEO-AES stereo audio mod

Hi, I have an early model 5v Neo Geo AES, model NEO-AES (with daughtboard) and rather than use the headphone jack at the front I want to tap into the line level audio from the console and incorporate it into a new 9pin din socket.

I am wondering at which point on the board I should take the audio from?

These are the schematics of the audio circuit for the NEO AES board:

The points where the left and right channels merge is after the 10K resistors:

When you remove either resistor the audio pin on the A/V port becomes the left or right channel (depending on what resistor you removed). Then you just have to replicate the same circuit (except for the CXA) for the other channel:

Perfect, that seems nice and straight forward actually. Have you performed this mod yourself? Just wondering as you had the schematics to hand already :)
