Color Ram error MVS 4 slot

I'm fine with changing video Ram chips if that's the cause but my concern is the visually damage custom. I assume that is related to this error or no?

Its hard to tell from the pic but is the PRO-B0 blown/ruptured? It looks like it is.

There is hairline crack in it yes, that's my concern. Any good way to verify with scope is functioning correct?

I would just consider it bad and swap it.

Seems like a lot to go through without even confirming it's bad first though... Would need a pull from a parts board and chips like that are a pain in the ass to solder too. Would hate to go through all that just to realize it isn't the cause of the issue anyway. Surely some of the lines could be probed first I'm just not familiar with MVS repair.

Does look like a crack on that PRO-B0. Those are the palette RAMs you have photographed there, so worth a shot at swapping them I guess. But the mark on top would suggest something failed.
