Didn't SEGA also walk away from their agreement with AtGames? I personally have never bought any of their stuff just due to their name making headlines in a not so good way, but I feel for anybody who got duped. Especially since AtGames sent the version with the arcade versions to John Hancock, but then sent inferior NES ports to stores. That's just horrendous.

They've made like 8 Atari Flashbacks and still can't even get that shit right.

The one they had Curt Vendel design, the Atari Flashback 2, shits all over everything AtGames has ever done or will ever do.

AtGames is somehow even shittier than Hyperkin or Retro Bit.

I guess I'll say this again...why would people bother with something like that (even in it's original, actual arcade ROM form) -vs- a Retropie?

If you want the real deal...fine, buy the arcade boards, or the console and the actual games. If you're going to emulate it on other than original hardware, why would anyone spend $20 on something like that?

I don't think mom's at Target know what a RetroPi is. On the other hand, my coworker's 7 year old daughter wants Pi components for Xmas.

Their PS2 Sega Ages are great too - I have Fantasy Zone and Monster World. Super comprehensive.

Maybe they have some decent sales reps with nice size expense accounts to give higher ups incentives to earn their business.

I think he should just change his name back to John C Reilly. He can wear a hat or fake beard or whatever, but if he doesn't bother to change his voice, he's not going to fool anyone.
