MV-1C no sound

Hey friends..

I am facing issues with my MV-1C that was working fine but stopped playing ingame sound today.
The neo geo jingle will play just fine at boot but other than that it's dead silent.

Anyone ever experienced something similar ?

Clear the backup ram if you haven't already.

Fixed it now.
Found a broken trace on the bios chip and reflowed the 68k.

The MV-1C seems so much more fragile than a MV-1FZ.. the traces fall off if you look at them..

I have the same problem! I sometimes get a few sound effects but bios is the only consistent sound.
Can you post some pics of what you did to fix?

I only used a reflow station (hot air) and reflowed the 68k CPU (but be careful not to overheat it) and I resoldered the Bios Chip and found a bad trace just near the pin.

I think your problem might be something else because you at least get sound effects.. this problem might be more related to the combined NEO-YSA2 (if you also have the MV-1C board).
