No pain during the run thankfully but now that I’ve been resting when I walk around I feel 100 years old! I’m flat footed mostly so I have fairly unsupported running shoes as I’ve found it much better than a shoe that provides somewhat unnatural support funnily enough.

Take it easy, I tend to have an ice bath right after a hard race to help with muscle recovery. Stretch every day and you'll be right as rain soon

So, Bend is gorgeous.

I volunteered at an aid station and most everything went great - huge problem was a "course vandal" who removed/relocated course markers. Apparently vandals are a thing - for whatever their reason in their own mind, they don't want organized events on the trails. Big problem, though, is when someone gets lost in the desert after running 30 miles. So, fuck that guy.
