I'd like to thank the GOP for conducting this circus 4 days before early ballots mail. It's gonna be a real easy one.
So glad he was proven innocent.
So glad he was proven innocent.
Justice Kavanaugh said a 1996 federal law required detention even years later, without an opportunity for a bail hearing.
“What was really going through Congress’s mind in 1996 was harshness on this topic,” he said.
But Justice Gorsuch suggested that mandatory detentions of immigrants long after they completed their sentences could be problematic. “Is there any limit on the government’s power?” he asked.
This time next year Gorsuch will be widely considered a squish.
Gorsuch was never as bad as Bart. The Dems didn’t fight to keep Gorsuch off the court, and I’m glad they didn’t. They saved their energy for Bart.
Am I supposed to understand that?
The dude seems to think that Hurricane Michael is god's punishment for the Dems trying to interfere with Trump's agenda.

Close- he is saying Dems created the hurricane as a temper tantrum for kav. That thread is a wild ride.
Whether he's innocent or not, which at this point I don't think we have sufficient proof he is guilty, the way he acted and his rhetoric in the hearings wer concerning. The week before he was calm and collected. He made it known he would be impartial and uphold the letter of the law no matter the issue or his political leaning. Then a week later at these hearings, his tirade at the beginning sounded like an excerpt from an Alex Jones show. Conspiracy theories about this being payback for Trump being elected, to the Clintons were in on it, to the boogie man George Soros.
He may be fit, but damn if he didn't say some off the wall shit that made me think "Hmmm, maybe this guy isn't the most mentally stable".
I think the trial wasn't just about finding him innocent or guilty. All they really had to do was catch him out, telling even one lie. But of course, they couldn't.
Flake is now saying he didn't believe Kavenaugh. But confirmed him anyway.
