Neo Geo AES Graphic Problems

Hello Friends,

i have a Problem with my Neo Geo AES Console. Today i want to play with my Console but all Games have in the Intro Points and Lines on the Screen. When the Console starting without a Casette than th Screen is blus. I think this is correct. The most Problem are with the Intros, the Games have not so many Problems. I hope anybody can help me with the Problem.

I'm assuming this is a 1st gen system? Check the soldering on the LSPC-A0.

That, and try pressing down on PRO-C0 and PRO-B0, to see if the dot pattern changes.
Not long ago HPMAN showed me a very similar problem he had with a 1st gen. After checking connections between the video chips, we guessed it could only be an internal fault. Replacing PRO-B0 solved the issue.

Hope that dying RAM in PRO- chips isn't becoming common...

Yeah the line buffers are split in both (can't remember how), the sprite pixels are rendered in them.
In second gen systems they're all in NEO-B1. On the Alpha68k they were made of a bunch of fast RAM chips that could be replaced :p
