Got this in a few days from KitKit. He hooked me up with a great deal on this modded Saturn, Thanks Kit.

Came with some scratches and had a hint of yellow. It wasn't really all that bad but figured I would give it a Magic Eraser and Hydrogen Peroxide Treatment. Came out looking like new.

Nicely done, that looks brand new. An actual white white Saturn is a sight to behold.

Thanks Bro. This is why I stayed away from the Japanese White Saturn for so long and stuck with the grey one's because it's hard to find a nice looking one. The clean up process wasn't all that bad, just time consuming. The Bright White look really does look nice.

Looks good, I've never used retro brite, but it is amazing how much difference a good cleaning can make.

Looks beautiful. Good job! Everyone loves that 32-bit white power.

I've been wanting to dabble with retro bright as I have a SNES that is basically a khaki beige. But I kinda like my scrub looking SNES. :)

You Guys should do it when ever you have a little time on your hands. It's really not all that bad. Only pain in the ass part is taking the system apart and having to put it back together when you're done. Especially if you have any mods done to the console.

I get what you're saying though CS, there is something cool to owning a system that shows some wear. It gives it some character.

So true, but having your once pristine white console turn piss yellow is not a good look. :D

Very nice. I just got a white/original PC Engine. Pretty white (for being over 30 years old) but I wonder if I could make it like sparkling white with that treatment - for $9 I might give it a try.

I like white saturns but they dont hold the same nostalgia for me as a black saturn... a black saturn just feels like home to me :)

I bet japanese people are jelaous of the black saturns we have in the US lol

Only US console i think really looks horrible tho is the TG16, japan really lucked out on that one...


I’ve often considered going on ebay and buying some cheap junk yellowed saturns from japan.. this thread inspires me..

Boring response. My attitude about your seething hate towards me is actually shifting to amusement..

At least i know what a BBS is and how they work. Computer history is fascinating.
