So its trivial to get the needed uF capacitance and voltage rating of the existing capacitors on mvs boards. However what about the other qualities of the capacitor?

For example Nichicon caps

Getting high temp and longer load life is good but what about low vs high ripple current, low impedance, etc? And what about caps being used for power filtering vs the audio caps?

thanks

Always replace capacitors with the same microfarad rating, voltage rating rule is either whatever it's currently rated at or higher. Usually best practice is to use caps made in Japan: Nichicon, Panasonic, Rubycon, Sanyo, United Chem-con, Hitachi. The hour rating has to do with how long a capacitor will work at said temperature (usually 85C). Don't overthink it looking into high temp/long life, it's just a MVS board. If you just get the first Nichicon result you find off of mouser it will be more than fine for the life of the board.
