As the title says, I found a Commodore 128 in my parents basement with a ton of software as well as literature. And I have no idea what I’m doing. So as I begin jerking this old system off I figured I’d ask about people’s recommendations for “must haves.”7D3E5457-6E94-41D7-818B-6B88F70E2AC1.jpeg273E78CE-B967-44EE-A923-05688AF3126E.jpeg9F28392D-BA2A-476C-8AB5-C87DB430F4A4.jpegB663AC23-6044-42BB-AEF5-F244201449ED.jpegE383C09D-22BE-4AD6-B65E-BD21BAA8A737.jpeg

Oh, and the C128 mode is only good for programming with Turbo Pascal on CP/M. For everything else, just boot into C64 mode.

Off the top of my head:

1. Impossible Mission
2. Last Ninja Series
3. Sam's Adventure

Also, get a Wimodem (wireless modem) so you can surf BBS's.

You can also set up a Raspberry Pi as a Pi1541, which makes the Pi a cycle-perfect drive emulator, much more accurate than the SD2IEC. Given it's a fully open source project, you can rig it up yourself, or go to eBay or something like that to see if anyone's selling pre-made kits. I think I saw some on eBay a while ago.

I really like the port of moon patrol. It’s actually one of the first video games I ever played, and it’s a surprisingly faithful conversion.
