Photo of guy using that gun to play Duckhunt.

The Sinden Lightgun currently only works on Windows operating systems.

Awesome.

Just get a Wii:
The House of the Dead Overkill
The House of the Dead 2 and 3 Return
Ghost Squad
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
Gunblade New York and LA Machine Guns
Dead Space: Extraction

All you need is the stock controller, or one of those Nyko gun peripherals if you want.

Only mark ass bustas don't like The House of the Dead Overkill.

I have no idea what that means lol

But I actually do like HOTDOK,
Just not so keen playing on the Wii.
Some of the Wii games are really good but I dont think the Wii mote tracks good enough.

Hes only asking £100 per gun (if it succeeds) which I would drop in a heartbeat if it works the way he claims.

My Aim Traks were a little over that and ime fine with that so I could play all my fave old gun games.

Seems like he's using mouse type tracking, why that would cost 100 pounds is beyond me, seems like he's trying to cash in. No thanks.

More importantly, what's this got to do with Neo Geo?

As I recall, there are no neo geo light gun games... this belongs in unrelated.

Yeah it appears similar to a Aimtrak in that it emulates a mouse however the AT does it with sender/receiver similar to a Wii remote and sensor bar.

This apparently has no external sensor or anything which is what makes it so interesting and if real would be a totally new thing (at least to my knowledge)

Beast Busters? Pushing it as it’s SNK but pre- neo geo.

Never heard of that but totally looking into it!

I'm not sure I give a shit about light gun games anymore, they were cool maybe 10 years ago or more though. I recently played VC2 and HOTD2 on DC and well... yeah couldn't give a shit.

Seems fine, I do have some love of light gun games. Mostly something to do whenever I have friends over that are casual gamers. However this seems to only work on PC?

Most of those are enhanced on PS3 if you happen to own a Move. I play with the Sharpshooter attachment, which is pretty badass. That also opens up Time Crisis: Razing Storm (TC4 and Deadstorm Pirates) and HotD4.

I'm not sure this belongs here either way, but Beast Busters: Second Nightmare is on the HNG64.

Razing Storm with the sharpshooter is so fucking good. It might be my favorite ps3 game.

Motion controls have too much noticeable lag and are too imprecise and are in no way a good replacement for true light gun technology.

This is my feeling also.

The Aim Traks are the nearest I have found so far to the quality of a original light gun.
But they struggle in brightly lit areas with lots of reflective surfaces.

Wii motes just dont cut it for me.

If it had arcade style recoil and a heavy/metal frame, I'd be all over it. Then again no way it would be going for $100.
