MV4 Crosshatch of Death 2018

Repairing a 4 slot for someone. Initially it wouldn’t boot. Removed leaking battery, repaired all traces. Tested, got a Video RAM error, bad lower VRAM, replaced it and now I get the crosshatch but no games work.

Checked the traces for the F138 on the top board at A2, traces were good to all enable lines. F138 also tested good.

I’m not sure what else to check.

Are you able to read cartridge data with the memory viewer in the unibios?

Turned out to be one pin on CN10 wasn’t making connection between the two boards. Apparently the battery acid got in the connector. Had to jump the connection with a wire.
